WELCOME to my humble shop, Cathy Buckley Cat's Meow! I design and make jewelry that is just a bit different :) I am an RN who keeps her sanity by designing and making jewelry. I love to work in copper, brass and silver as well as designing with vintage components. Be the Cat's Meow :0
I have combined my love of vintage, bling, gemmy beads and metals into a fun, quirky, unique line of jewelry. I have always enjoyed wearing unique jewelry, and hope you feel the same! When you wear one of my designs you are the "Cat's Meow".
I do tend to design a new line or two every year, so check back often.
Some designs feature up-cycled vintage items that are given a fresh twist with unusual components that I reclaim from thrift shops and estate sales.
I also love to do metal work in copper, brass, sterling and fine silver, and have created my own patina formulas. Finally, I have learned to enamel and have added enameled pieces to my portfolio. It's ALL good :)
I play with color, texture, and light in my designs--to me designing is like creating a piece of art to wear--just one little change or addition can make the piece that much more special. I mix vintage components with contemporary ones for a decidedly retro-metro feel. Some are quirky, some more traditional, but all are unique!

P.S.---I HATE pricing my stuff @ $20.95, or $34.57 etc, etc.... !! So SILLY to me! Full dollar amounts here at my shop <3

I am quite honored and proud to have been featured in a number of publications such as Belle Armoire Jewelry, Jewelry Affaire magazines, the 2013 Lark Publication: Showcase 500 art necklaces , and Bead Trends magazine.
My work has been seen @ Gallery North art gallery and NYC Fashion Week Fall 2014, 2015, and 2016.
