Welcome to Cathy's Trinkets!

Thank you for taking the time to look at the items in our store. We sincerely hope that you have found something that would make a wonderful gift for yourself or someone special.

As most of the items are handmade, there may be some variation from the made to order photos. Each item is lovingly crafted as if I were making it as a gift for my own family and friends. Hence, you can be assured that each item was made with the utmost care.

While custom work can be done where possible, this is not possible for one of a kind (OOAK) pieces. This is due to the fact that there are limited quantities of some of the materials used (for example, vintage buttons).

Payment for an item should be made via Paypal within 48 hours of the sale. This deadline may be extended if there is a conversation about an item.

Cancellations will be accepted before shipment of the item.
I ship every Wednesday and Saturday (except public holidays). I use the local postal system for all shipping. However, if you require your item to be delivered in a shorter time frame, we can arrange for it via conversation. These may result in higher shipping costs than those listed and will be borne by the buyer.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

Items are generally sent in resealable plastic bags to keep any moisture out during shipping. Depending on the item, bubble wrap may also be used to protect the item.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds will be made should the item arrive damaged or if it is lost in transit (i.e., if it does not arrive within 6 weeks of shipping).

Photos of the damaged item are appreciated as they will enable me to prevent such breakage again in future.

Returns will not be accepted.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders may take a bit longer to take into account the additional time needed to make the items. Deadlines will be discussed and agreed upon in conversation.

Generally, items are sent in a silk bag or box depending on the item. These are pretty and the items can be presented as a gift in them.
