I love Matisse's art, Armenian art including illuminated manuscripts and Caucasian-style oriental rugs, folk art of all varieties, and ceramics. These have influenced me since I began painting at the age of fourteen My work has been shown and/or sold both in the United States and abroad, and paintings of mine are in the permanent collection of the Armenian Folk Art Museum in Erevan, Armenia, and in private collections in California, New York, and Ohio.

Lately, I have become a reluctant traveler, content to be here in Ohio with my family including two wonderful grandchildren, with a yearly visit each summer to visit our wonderful friends and family in California as well as friends on the east coast. And so, reluctant to travel more extensively to show my work, I have joined the World Wide Web to offer reproductions of my work in frame-able 9 by 12 inch or 18 by 24 inch prints, using the glycée technique creating permanent ink-jet images on acid-free paper. An Indian acquaintance, whom I met in the Armenian Quarter in Jerusalem, loved seeing my work in photos and said that they resembled Indian miniatures—that’s the idea behind these wonderfully vivid reproductions, which I believe you will love. The prices are $10 for the 8x10, $25 for the 9x12, and $40 for the 18x24.

New paintings will be available from month to month. Catisse the cat appears somewhere in most of them. Also, other paintings of mine will be available, either as prints or the original canvases.
