Super-great artist to deal with! Shipped quickly and my piece arrived in perfect condition. "Pears in Brown Paper" is even more beautiful in person. A new favorite. Thank you, Cat!
A Small Shop with a Big Logo
I created the logo because I was born in the Year of the Dragon (never mind which one), and dragons are agents of change and creativity. That couldn't be a more perfect symbol of what art is about, of what sharing art and art-making can do for someone's life.
My small studio doesn't limit the size of the ideas, or the quality of execution of my work. There is room here for everything I need. To create a studio is just to bring awareness to what you have probably been doing for years, if not most of your life, plus adding shelving.
Each of us is given something magnificent inside with which to make our contribution. I call it creative fire. If some days your walls seem too close, or the clutter inside your head is too dense, ready your Dragon Breath and blow it away. In my studio, I make room for the magnificent every day. In my Etsy shop, I share all of that with you.

Color, line, and design fill my days, and all my images are created with the intent to make you smile, every time you look.
I paint watermedia paintings of nature and natural events to capture elegant moments in lush compositions, and share those moments with you. The prints I sell here are made to my specifications, so you see what I painted in the original work.
I like to do more than just sell prints, though. If you have questions about a technique, the selection of a subject, how to frame, anything I can help you with, please send me a message at halcat42 [!at] gmail.com.
See You in the Studio!
