Orders typically ship within 24-48 hours & a tracking number is available on your Etsy order. 99% of our orders ship with USPS.

If you purchased a PRE-ORDER item the full order will not ship until all items are in-stock. Pre-order items are not in stock but provide you with 1st access when in-stock and have an estimated arrival date in the description. The date is when it's anticipated to arrive @ CAVU Fabrics. The estimated arrival date isn't firm and based upon the distributors estimated delivery date. The exact ship date cannot be guaranteed. We are frequently communicating with the distributing companies & will update you as information is received. When your order is fully in-stock it is packaged and shipped within 24-48 hours.

A single order that contains in-stock and pre-order items will not ship until everything arrives at our shop. At the time of order we pull/cut any in-stock items and set aside with your name on it to ensure it is not over-sold. Once the pre-order item(s) arrive and your order is complete everything will be packaged and shipped. Etsy notifies you when a shipping label is created which indicates your order will ship within 24-48 hours.

If you would like to receive your in-stock items before your entire order arrives please place separate orders, including pre-order items that have different delivery months. If you are unsure, please send us a message! It is our pleasure to help you place an order correctly.

We love offering items as pre-order. It helps you secure items before they can sell out & it also helps our shop know how much to order to ensure we have enough for everyone.

Fabric distributors provide an estimated ship month but this isn't a guarantee. EX.: we anticipated Curiouser & Curiouser to arrive in April '21 - Free Spirit let us know it was delayed & would likely ship in May. They then updated to say late May which means it likely will not arrive at CAVU Fabrics until early June. We are in regular communications with distributors to ensure we have the latest information which is then passed onto you!

We appreciate your understanding & hope you recognize we do our very best to receive items as quickly as possible!

CAVU Fabrics does not offer refunds after 24 hours of purchase, including pre-order items.

We carefully cut, fold, & package each of your items which allows us to inspect the product for defects.

Sometimes things can be missed! If for some reason you have a defect send us a message with a picture asap.

If you've used fabrics for awhile it is likely you've seen "oil" stains or small snags from the manufacturing/ folding process. When we find these we do our best to cut them out. If we've missed one we will do our best to find a resolution.

If we mistakenly shipped the wrong product please send us a message so we may correct the order.

If your order arrives damaged please speak with your local USPS office to file a claim.

99% of our orders are shipped using USPS, including international. USPS pricing is competitive, trackable (domestically) and pretty reliable.

We also strive to provide the lowest shipment price possible. We recommend selecting Flat Rate Envelope if you're purchasing a cumulative yardage of 1-6(ish) yards. If you're unsure it will fit please send us a message and we can recommend the best shipment option.

If we see an order placed that is over the cost of a Flat Rate Envelope by more than $1 we will ship using a Flat Rate Envelope and refund any difference >$1.

Shipping is a fun part of the process! We enjoy wrapping each order with a little love and joy. Often times you'll find a surprise or two included!

As you may have read in the previous response, we love packaging your orders!

Each order includes at least 1 surprise but often times many depending on what we have on-hand.

Each time an order is packaged we tend to imagine the joy you will have opening it! We think surprises are a great way to spoil each of you. So don't be surprised if you find more than you ordered!

PS - for big releases such as Curiouser & Curiouser we like to ensure the surprises are "on theme" ;). We cannot wait to receive the shipment and start packaging these orders!
