4 out of 5 starsThis is a beautiful piece, and I'm keeping it as a gift, but it's not from the 1930s as indicated. It may be technically vintage, but more likely early 1980s or late 1970s if it was well-preserved. Pretty and functional, but was really expecting a vintage piece.

Please accept my apologies. The compact belonged to my husband's great-aunt, who died in the early 1980s. It looked like something she would have owned in her younger days. I am glad however, that you do like it.
