About

Glass!

I began making jewellery in 2005 and so enjoyed this I decided to start selling. I became interested in lampwork beads and included artisan beads in my jewellery. When we returned to Scotland in 2009 I began making my own lampwork beads and enjoy every moment I spend at the torch, I still have the same sense of excitement when I open the kiln in the morning as I had when I first started. Last year I attended a borosilicate glass course with Ian Pearson at Northlands Glass in Lybster Caithness and hope to return this year for more of the same. I love melting glass and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.

I started making jewellery when we were travelling around Greece in our old mercedes motorhome. When we returned to scotland in 2008 I took up lampworking and continue to make jewellery with my lampwork beads.

Additional policies and FAQs
Measurements are given in inches and centimetres.
Necklaces are measured laid flat and excluding the clasp.
For bracelets, the diameter of the beads can affect the way the bracelet fits on your wrist. Very chunky beads for example will mean the bracelet will be a tighter fit than smaller beads on a bracelet the same length. Measure your wrist with a flexible tape measure, when you know your size, check that the measurement given for your chosen bracelet matches the size of your wrist, you can allow 1/2 to 1 inch either way depending on how snug you like your bracelet to fit.
Earrings are measured by the drop from the bottom of the earwire.
