The ground loofa side takes about one shower to break in and then it becomes rough and effective. The Shea Butter side is fantastic right after a good scrubbing.

Had to try this as soon as it arrived. After one application, I have to say that my skin feels clean and toned with no chemical after-scent. I thought it might be too drying, but my skin is actually softer than usual. I can't wait to see what happens in the coming weeks!
