I was a longtime licensed & practicing Cosmetologist and Esthetician, mother of two, and working crazy long hours. I began experiencing unexplainable rashes, hives, Asthma, headaches, vertigo, nose bleeds, and other mind-boggling issues. After a five-day hospitalization, my primary care physician concluded that I had a toxicity overload from the many years of professional chemical use and exposure. She advised me to eliminate toxic, harmful everyday-use products and to stop performing the ever-popular Keratin hair straightening treatments in the salon. I've always felt I had been health conscious but realized I had to kick it into high gear for my well-being. I began my journey to better daily self-care and eco-friendliness by researching natural, holistic alternatives and eliminating toxic products and practices. This led me to the amazing beneficial and therapeutic properties of pure essential oils and natural botanicals. I dove into essential oil education classes, participated in webinars, and began making aromatherapy and self-care wellness products for daily self-care. My health and wellness began to amazingly improve and it was noticeable to others. Eventually, with friends’ encouragement, my passionate ditch and switch hobby became Cedar Hill Botanicals.
I am happily retired from the Cosmetology and Aesthetic industry after nearly four decades and am currently working on my Aromatherapist certifications. I wake up every day looking forward to continuing my research, creating products, taking my classes, managing the business, and sharing Cedar Hill Botanicals' mission online, and at artisan craft vendor events and festivals.

If an order becomes lost in transit or arrives damaged, the buyer must directly contact Etsy to open a lost or damaged package claim. Etsy decides if/when a refund will be issued to the buyer once the lost/damaged claim has been investigated, processed, and closed.
• WRONG ADDRESS: The buyer must input the correct USPS shipping/mailing address during the checkout process. Once the order has been processed and shipped, Cedar Hill Botanicals can not change the shipping/mailing address. Cedar Hill Botanicals is not held responsible for the order not being delivered to the correct address, due to the buyer giving the wrong address during the checkout process.
