Carolines' work is exceptionally crafted and conceived with a rare soul that comes through in every piece. I will treasure this necklace.

original heirlooms inspired by memories, history and a long tradition of fine-tuned craft.

hello! i'm caroline. glad to have you here.

want to know a little bit about c. e. golden?

well, i'm from illinois originally, but currently live in massachusetts. i've also spent some time in santa fe, new mexico where i apprenticed for a metalsmith jeweler for three years. i'm very much influenced by the places i’ve lived, the people i've met (and continue to meet), stories i've been told and the objects i collect. my work is informed by these influences and my hope is that they become much more than just tangible objects—that they have a voice.

no two are exactly alike. i make each piece by hand, one at a time, out of a deep respect for the long tradition of refined jewelry-making. it is a craft that has been around for centuries. it demands both meticulous attention to detail as well as a means to express an idea. it is art on a small scale.

i don't design jewelry for fashion, but rather for you. so that you will wear it and feel like your best self. so that you will be reminded of the beauty in the world that is beyond words or time. my mission is to create original heirlooms that you will feel proud to pass along, because that particular piece picked you just as much as you it.
