Such a unique mug! I just love that the tentacle is the mug's handle. The colors on this are absolutely beautiful and I love looking at how the colors blend into each other. It feels great to hold, even with it being a unique handle. Plus it holds a perfect amount of coffee and tea. Shipping was quick and the mug was well packaged. Your work is so much fun and I am excited to have added your work to my collection!

Art and the ocean.

Since I first set my hands in clay, the laborious, yet Zen process of spinning clay on the wheel and the fashioning of intricate hand built armatures has captivated me. There is something gratifying about getting your hands dirty to transform a soft earthy material into functional and decorative visual art.

Since childhood, the sea and its infinite inhabitants have inspired my art as well as personal lifestyle. Much like the art world, the sea holds many wonderful mysteries that beg to be explored and admired. I have successfully integrated oceanic life into my pottery through sculptural means with each piece being unique in function, form, color, and texture. My ambition is to bring the sublime aesthetics of the sea into my pieces through sculptural additions while looking at the natural beauty of corals, seaweeds, shells, and live creatures.
