CeramaeStudios is taking a short break

Note from shop owner Hi there!
Everyone needs a break sometimes, and this is that time for me. After some much needed self-reflection, I’ve decided to take a hiatus from creating to prioritize my family and mental well-being.

Best wishes,

Are you looking for useful, colorful, affordable ceramic accessories?

Hi There! My name is Chelsea and I'm the creative behind Ceramae Studios. Though a Graphic Designer by trade, I have always enjoyed the hands-on nature of ceramics.

I love to create simple, modern accessories for myself and my home. As an avid cook, I enjoy ways to bring color and useful art into the kitchen instead of just my everyday staples.

Every piece is either wheel thrown or hand built using low-fire earthenware clay. My style is simple and modern using bright colors with few embellishments. I believe that the clay and glaze interact so beautifully on their own that I'd prefer to let the materials shine for what they are.

Have a look around my shop and feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Hi! I'm a full-time graphic designer and part-time potter! I love making useful, beautiful items from clay. Firing a project and opening the kiln to see how it turned out the next morning is like a present every time!

Frequently asked questions
How do the garden markers fare outside?

These do very well outdoors! I use them on my own patio for plants exposed year round. They've survived Colorado hail, winter freezes, and summer heat for years. They will discolor slightly more than if they were sheltered inside, but they can be freshened up with some warm soap, water, and a soft brush most of the time. If you're very concerned about the discoloration, I can coat the label in a clear glaze for an additional fee. Due to the additional materials, time, and reduced number of items I can fire in the kiln with that process, I must charge a an additional fee. However, it really does look lovely and will help ensure your labels stay white for years.

Custom and personalized orders

ABSOLUTELY! Everyone's garden and style is a little bit unique, so if I don't have what you need in stock, please don't hesitate to reach out and see what we can make together. A minimal custom order fee will be applied.

Care instructions

Unglazed clay may discolor over time when left outside. This can be freshened up with some soap and warm water and scrubbing with a soft brush.

Are the wine corks fragile being made of ceramic?

On average, no. Normal bumps and storage will not harm them; however, if the wine is flowing and you have granite or tile counter tops, beware! A drop from height onto a hard surface can certainly still damage the product.
