About

Simple, lightweight, wheel-thrown pottery

I started making pots at the University of Northern Colorado in 2005. I was a natural and enjoyed making fluid, dancerly abstract sculptures as well. My practical nature kept me making pots more often than sculptures, however. I traded my car for a bicycle in 2007 and was drawing bikes on my mugs soon after. The pots sold here come mostly from my time at the Boulder Potters Guild, with a few from the Boulder Pottery Lab. Sculptures are from my years at UNC.

Shop policies

Last updated on March 17, 2011
Welcome to my pottery shop! Each piece is handmade, thrown on the wheel, and glazed with care. If there are any pots with small flaws, I label them as "seconds" and reduce the price. Everything here is functional, food and dishwasher safe. Though pottery is fragile, it is still durable and long-lasting. Most of my work is thinner than the average pot, but not nearly as delicate as fine china. I understand the difficulty in choosing a piece of pottery online without seeing it first, and I want you to be happy with your purchase, so please see my return policy if you are unsure about anything.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept payment through paypal and it must go through before I ship the pots.
Shipping
I generally ship via USPS First Class within 3 days of your order (assuming payment goes through by then). If you prefer a different method or need it sooner, we can discuss the options and cost when you make a purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with the pots you receive, send them back to me and I will give you a full refund. I will not pay for the return shipping, but I will refund you the amount you paid for the pots and the original shipping.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am open to custom orders if I can use the materials I have - porcelain or white stoneware clay, and the glazes I have available to me.
