A commercial and fine art photographer for the last 25 years Ann Cutting brings a simple, fresh and functional form to her ceramic pieces. The majority
of her work is wheel thrown with stoneware, porcelain and black mountain clay. Ann uses xerox transfer techniques and decals to combine her award-winning imagery with the claybody in a rich color palette obtained with high-fire, cone ten glazes.

Commissioned work can be seen in the Hyatt Regency Tahoe collection, the FieldTrip LA restaurant, Palace and at Beam and Anchor. Her ceramic work is also shown in the Xiem Clay Center Gallery in Pasadena, California.

All pieces are water-tight, dishwasher, food and oven safe unless indicated otherwise.
Signed with my "chop" on the bottom, ( it looks like a little wave).

Very, very cute. Looks just like it does in the photo. I use it on my dresser to put my earrings in when I take them out at night and I'm too lazy to put them in their proper place.

A commercial and fine art photographer for the last 20 years Ann Cutting brings a simple, fresh and functional form to her ceramic pieces. The majority of her work is wheel thrown with stoneware or porcelain clay. Ann uses xerox transfer technique and decals to combine her award winning imagery with the claybody. Ann earned her BA in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at U.C.S.D. and her BA in Photography at Art Center College of Design.

She currently creates pottery in Pasadena, California. She teaches Photography at
The Art Center College of Design, and LA Center for Photography.

Ann's work can be found on display at the Hyatt in Tahoe and for sale through Beam and Anchor , Palace shops in Oregon, and at Xiem Clay Center Gallery in Pasadena, California.

For domestic orders (USA):

Most items are shipped within 2-10 days of the receipt of payment. Most are shipped via Parcel Post thru the USPS and do not have tracking number. If you have a deadline or need your item right away, please let me know, I can also ship Fed Ex or UPS . If you would like a tracking number let me know in advance of shipping so I can give you a 1st class shipping price.

All of the pieces are packed with care to ensure their safe arrival. I have lots of experience with shipping my work so you can feel confident that I will get your item to you safely. My studio is smoke free. I like to recycle packing material, I hope you can too.
