"Mom, I want a forest of these!"

A few years ago, I mentioned to my mom that I wanted not just one but 'a forest' of ceramic trees. As a longtime collector and seller of vintage decor, the need for 'a forest' didn't really surprise anyone. The collection started with one tree, and then five, and then fifteen... and then somehow, I ended up with over ONE HUNDRED ceramic trees. How? I don't know. Maybe they multiply?
It was decided that there was absolutely no way that I could feasibly keep and display 100 ceramic trees, so Ceramic Tree Lady was born. These days, Kathy and I find 'sad trees' and make them 'happy trees' (thanks, Bob Ross) and then I find them new owners that will love them as much as I do.

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is not available due to the large size and packing procedures for ceramic items.

In order to help decrease our carbon footprint, Ceramic Tree Lady may use recycled packing material.

Do you make your trees?

No. Ceramic Tree Lady does not make ceramic trees or other ceramic decor. All of our ceramic trees have been found 'in the wild', cleaned and/or repaired, and decorated to look their best. Ceramic Tree Lady is proud to offer vintage trees to the masses.

How do you ship your trees?

Ceramic Tree Lady packs each tree carefully with layers upon layers of bubble wrap, paper, and bubble pockets. Tree and base are wrapped separately. If pegs are not glued in, they are removed to minimalize the risk of damage during shipping.
Each package includes a handwritten note on a vintage Christmas postcard.

Can tree pegs be glued in?

Yes, they can! Be aware that certain glues work better than others. Most ceramicists and tree collectors recommend Elmer's white school glue. It dries nicely and is easy to remove in the event that you ever want to change the look of your tree.

Do you glue pegs in?

Under most circumstances, Ceramic Tree Lady does not glue pegs. If you would like pegs glued in before shipping, please send us a message.
