About

Cerublu's Studio

Why "Cerublu"? Its a contraction of Cerulean Blue, my favourite colour. And I'm a redhead. (Blue is a common Australian nickname for redheads and one I get called by some friends.) I pronounce Cerublu as ser-OO-blOO.

I started selling my crochet and some of Lorraine's work on etsy over 10 years ago as well as attending Art markets. I love seeing customers enjoying our work and things went so well that when a small shop became available in the nearby town of Dungog, we took the plunge and opened the bricks and mortar Cerublu Studio, where we sell our own work and that of other local artists.

While we were establishing our Dungog Studio I took a break from etsy. But now I'm back and looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones!

I'll be listing some new things too. Of course my wild crochet will feature heavily, and its wilder than ever! I've added new hat designs including unicorn ear flap hats and boggle eye beanies. I'll also be including my mother Lorraine's textile art clothing and other pieces, as well as my own paintings, cards and handpainted clothes and shoes.

Both online and in our Dungog Studio we aim to provide excellent service and unique, functional, high quality items.
