ATTENTION international buyers-- during these crazy covid times, i am finding that international mail is taking longer than usual. I ship all of my parcels through Etsy with Global Postal Shipping. Once these parcels are en route, the only tracking information that i have available is from the tracking number from your shipment. If packages are taking longer to arrive, i don't have any control over that. Please keep that in mind if you are placing an order from outside of the United States. Thank you for your understanding.

5 out of 5 starsI highly recommend this seller! The clay magnets were so cute and she went out of her way to find out if I needed to enclose a little gift message. I will definitely buy from the shop again.

5 out of 5 starsThis print is so vibrant with color! It is even better in person than it is on the screen. The maker included a hand written note, so dear. It arrived in a timely manner and in great shape. I am excited that this will hang in my elementary art classroom. Thank you!

Handcrafted Art, Pottery and Jewelry to Cheer and Inspire
Since receiving a fine arts degree with an emphasis on ceramics in college, i have been working in some art-related capacity for the past 15 years. I began doing regional craft shows in the South East about 12 years ago, and opened my Etsy shop(s) in 2007. Although i didn't really start selling until late in that year, it didn't take long to realize that my Etsy shop, with some loving attention, could really become a wonderful venue for sharing my work with others.
I have always been interested and involved in creating things.... but it was a phenomenal art teacher that i had the privilege of studying with for three years in high school that fanned that spark inside of me into a great, roaring flame! Since that time, my love for art of all kinds has been insatiable. I love to see and experience the work of others, i love to travel and experience the art of cultures around the world, i love to take classes and read books, and i especially love to make things!!! I particularly love to make things that people can use in their every day lives; pieces that are colorful and happy and that bring a little cheer into one's home and life.
Hand-made pottery (and art of all kinds) is special because it has been marked by the hand of the artist in so many ways during its creation. The joy and wonderment of taking a ball of mud (clay) and transforming it into a vessel or piece of work that can be used and that is a thing of beauty, is something that i will never tire of. Sometimes people ask me if i have any trouble coming up with ideas or designs. On the contrary, my "trouble" is quieting the rush of inspiration for long enough to do the laundry! My biggest challenge is turning off the lights and walking out of the studio.
Thankfully, i have a wonderful little art space here in our home. After the children have gotten ready for their day and have headed to school, my work day begins and often continues off and on well after they arrive home and into the wee hours. My family is so supportive and understanding of my work... sometimes the children can be found in the studio working by my side, or building with legos in the family room next door (as they are while i write this). My husband is my right hand man and helps me load up and set up for shows, cuts and sands wood pieces for me for various projects, builds displays and other things when i need them, and lovingly tolerates the little tornado that i sometimes create around me when i am in the thick of working.
I imagine that i will come back and edit this "about" section many times. I have been reluctant to write it, because i wasn't sure what to say. But, i think it is okay to say that this, like my etsy shop, like my work and like ME- is a work in progress! -- an ever evolving expression of love and joy and creativity. I am always learning and growing- and hopefully improving-- and i look forward to sharing that with you here.
Thanks so much for visiting my shop and for supporting artists and hand-made work. I hope that you will find something here that you will love! Please check back again soon. I am ALWAYS working and hope to share more and more of what i create here with all of you!

In all of the years that I have been shipping my work around the world, i have had only one broken item. I learned from that instance and have not had any other breakage since that time!
I will ship your order to the address listed in your Etsy account, if you need your order shipped to another address let me know in the "Message to Seller" section during check-out. If you are purchasing a gift, please be sure to enter the correct shipping address during check out. If you would like a note included, enter that in the Notes to Seller along with any other special instructions or requests.
For domestic orders (USA):

For international orders:
International packages are shipped using Global Postal Mail (through Etsy) for items under 4 pounds or Priority International for heavier shipments. Please allow 2-4 weeks for the delivery of your international package. Once in awhile, international packages take longer than 4 weeks. This is rare, but it does happen from time to time.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS-- during these crazy covid times, i am finding that international mail is taking longer than usual to arrive. I ship all of my parcels through Etsy with Global Postal Shipping. Once these parcels are en route, the only tracking information that i have available is from the tracking number from your shipment. If packages are taking longer to arrive, i don't have any control over that. Please keep this in mind if you are placing an order from outside of the United States. Thank you for your understanding.
You are responsible for all duty, customs, or any other charges imposed by your country above and beyond the USPS (United States Postal Service) postal charges that you already paid. These may be due when you pick up your package. For my part, I will be honest and forthright on customs forms. I have no control over customs fees and whether or not they may be due upon receipt of your parcel.
Charges for international mail can be difficult to estimate. If there is a large shipping overage, I will refund the difference.
I do not include any sort of receipt or invoice in my packages as it is easy to print a copy for yourself from your Etsy page. If for some reason you need me to do this for you, I can happily do so- but this is another instance where i am trying to cut down on waste/ unnecessary use of materials.
