4 out of 5 starsI like the fabric for the cover, but should have chosen one of her felted covers.

5 out of 5 starsMy sister, mother and I were fortunate enough to take a class with Chad Alice and her work is exceptional, beautiful and down right amazing!! My sister loves her journals and is hard to shop for so this the most perfect Christmas present for her. The quality of her creations is outstanding!!! Happy holidays.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely love this gorgeous piece. If you see one you like in Chad Alice’s shop, don’t hesitate to buy as they are one of a kind and a lot of others have them in their carts. Thanks very much.

5 out of 5 starsThis is a sturdy lovely sketchbook that takes to watercolors and ink well. I love the size, cover and everything about it. Made extremely well. I just can’t wait to fill it with my artwork!

5 out of 5 starsI’m a repeat customer. The quality of the wool and the dying process is excellent. I’ll be back again.

My Esty Shop Reboot
I started my Esty shop years and years ago, maybe in 2010. There was something so exciting in seeing my hand felted, resist dyed arts felt and my handmade books all lined up on my home shop page. And of course it was exciting to start selling to folks who appreciated my work. But I also was a teacher of felting, dyeing and bookmaking and traveled throughout the states, Canada, Europe and even Australia. In the beginning it was exciting and airlines were great adventures. I also did shows mostly on the East Coast selling felt in various formats and more recently the books. But I got tired and could not keep up with my Esty shop and finally just put it on vacation.
I live and work by myself and my cat was not any help at all. I finally decided after 35 years to stop flying all over the place to teach, hauling suitcases and boxes and rusty bits up and down stairs and in and out of airports. So last year 2019 was pretty much my last away teaching. I still teach small classes here at my studio in Asheville, NC and also at a few places close enough that I can throw everything I need into my car and drive two or three hours. But mostly I have a lot more free time now to be designing books and spending time in the dye kitchen. I'm very excited about being about to re-open my Esty Shop and renew old friendships and make new ones.
