Chain Maille Trish

Chainmail began in medieval times as a method of weaving metal to create armor for knights, but today it is used to create elegant metal jewelry.

A few years ago, my sister asked me to go to the Baltimore Bead Society's Winter Show. She signed us up for a class to learn to make a Byzantine chainmaille bracelet for a project for my niece's Girl Scout Troop.

In 2019, I started teaching chainmaille classes at the Baltimore Bead society's Winter Show! I also teach at Bead Soup in Savage, MD and can be found at many local Art Festivals!

The rest, as they say, is history! I'm hooked! or should I say linked! ;)
