About

What I Love About Making Jewelry

Years ago, I learned silversmithing on the Navajo Reservation. After several years and several moves, it wasn't practical to continue. In 2006 (or so), I got interested in chainmaille and found my niche.

I love making jewelry. I love working with metals. I love intensive, high-detail work. Put this all together, and I thought that chainmaille jewelry would be really interesting. I bought a beginner book of 3 or 4 chainmaille designs, picked up some rings and tools, and got started. I was hooked immediately.

Some years have passed since that time. I'm far more sophisticated now in how I make jewelry. I make all my own rings (generally from precious metals), I have a full shop of jewelry equipment, and many of my designs are more intricate. Most of all, my techniques have greatly improved so I can make the quality jewelry I expect and feel proud sharing with others.

In 2015 AND 2016 AND 2017, I received the Blue Ribbon, First Place, in the New Mexico state jewelry competition: 2015 for the sterling silver Viperscale bracelet, 2016 for the Rondo a la Byzantine bracelet, and 2017 for the silver and gold Dragonscale bracelet

Last thing: The best part of making jewelry is seeing someone wearing it...and smiling!

I hope you enjoy my jewelry as much as I enjoyed making it.

Returns and exchanges
Items will be in perfect condition when they are shipped to you. However, if something tragic happens (package mangled, etc.) and the jewelry is damaged, you may return the jewelry for replacement.

Once you receive the item, take a few days to try it out. If you decide within a week that you don't like it, it isn't what you thought, or it doesn't fit, you may return it. Please contact me first. You will need to pay the return shipping cost. If the piece is returned in the same quality as I initially shipped it, I will give you a full refund.

Although most pieces are fairly sturdy, they can be damaged if misused or mishandled. They should be treated as fine jewelry. If a piece accidentally gets damaged, contact me about repair costs. A picture of the damage will be useful to determine cost and time. Not every piece can be repaired, but most can.
Payment
PayPal and credit cards accepted. If you must use a different option, please contact me. Items are shipped once payment is received-usually within the day.
Shipping
I ship USPS, first class. At this time, I do not sell or ship to international buyers. Most items are shipped within a day of the payment. I ship standard delivery times, which may be up to 10 days but are usually around 3 or 4 days, depending on where you are.
Additional policies and FAQs
Most pieces can be modified to your specifications, including length (within reason, see product details), color patterns, materials, and clasps. If you have something specific in mind, contact me. I want my jewelry in your hands!
