Frequently asked questions
How should I care for my bag?

Many of the African cloths used in our bags are handmade in small communities across the continent using traditional methods. Once received, they are carefully cleaned and treated to prevent most stains and spills. You can spot clean the fabric as necessary.

Leather should be treated regularly to keep it supple and clean. Avoid storing your bag in direct sunlight or in a sealed plastic bag as these can cause the leather to dry out and fade.

Custom and personalized orders

A limited number of custom orders may be considered. Please contact us with your request.

The item I want is sold out. Is it coming back?

Because each cloth is unique and sourced directly from the artisan, some items are only available in small quantities and may, therefore, sell out quickly.

If something you want is out of stock, please contact us and we'll let you know if that item (or something similar) is due to become available again.

Where do you ship?

Orders can be shipped anywhere in the world. We have a $15 flat rate for first class, tracked, international shipping, while orders over $150 will ship absolutely free. A tracking number will be provided to you once the parcel has been shipped.

Wholesale availability

We no longer sell to wholesale accounts, but we may revise this policy in the future.
