Every time I open a box from Chanoja there is magic inside. The care and the love she put into it is in every line. The stones are perfectly picked and placed and she captures the essence of each piece. Thank you so much for this gift I will treasure her forever Regular customer forever, Carrie Anne

I recently purchased your tiny moonstone goddess necklace and she is even more beautiful in real life! The amount of creativity, detail and love you pour into your work is very evident! It’s inspiring to see a fellow artist follow their passion and make a living from it - the reason I made this purchase was because your work sparked off some creativity in me that has been blocked for a long time, so thanks for that! :) Not only are you an excellent artist but you are also such a lovely person to deal with. I had a minor problem with my purchase (broken lobster clasp) and you were so accommodating and sent me spare clasps, along with a sweet note, free gift and even paid for postage & packaging which I thought was really thoughtful!! Tiny moonstone goddess is now fixed and happy :) Thanks for everything!!! Keep on inspiring! :)

Let yourself be enchanted by my mystical creations! ॐ

Welcome to the magical world of ChaNoJa Jewelry! My name is Chandani and I want to share with you my huge passion for unique and beautiful jewelry.

My life was exciting and adventurous in many ways, but one thing was lacking: creative expression! I felt deep inside that creativity will be an important part of my life some day. My patience was honored - In 2013 the waiting finally came to an end and I've had my creative awakening! Polymer Clay found me by showing me inspiring works from clay artists around the world and one day I said to myself: "What Beauty they create! Why not try myself? What others do, I can do too!?"
It completely took me by surprise and I am truly amazed at where I am today within just a few years. To create clay art jewelry seems to be my calling... My art creates itself from my soul and my heart, not from the head. The beauty lies in the "imperfections which are perfect", like in nature. I feel that my talent is not mine, it's a gift from the Universe and I'm forever grateful!

The expression of my very personal sense of beauty knows no limits and this clearly shows in my ever evolving creations. Creativity is my most beloved passion! With the adventurous spirit of a treasure hunter, I venture deeper and deeper into its mysterious realms.

As an 80thies child, I was always fascinated by all colorful in this world, by all that glows under a blacklight - and thats where I started off on my journey :) More and more I involved the mythical world of Goddesses, Gods and healing crystals in my work. I love all boho, earthy, fairy, spiritual and nature-inspired things.
And I have a great passion for intricate details which I involve in my eclectic jewelry. Some of my creations radiate such special magic that they can be used as ritual jewelry in shamanic and healing sessions and to adorn your sacred space or altar. I feel a very personal connection with every one of my creations. And with some very special pieces I feel a strong magical bond as they seem to become alive and speak to me!

I get more and more wonderful feedback from people who requested a custom order. They say that I am able to capture the essence of their souls, of what touches them deeply... These compliments were a suprise to me at first and they greatly inspire me, give me lots of positive energy and arouse the fire of my creativity!
My creations are all my "babies" and I want them to find a loving new home where they are cherished and honored.

Here is what I like to use:
Healing crystals and gemstones, dragon eyes, high energy stones and shells found in nature, unique glass orbs and cabochons, mica powder (fairy dust), swarovski crystals, metal and wooden beads, leather or vegan cords like faux suede, cotton, sari silk yarn or silk ribbons. Recencly I have started to do simple and beautiful macramé cords, which takes a lot of time and is like a meditation. I also love unique metal charms and beautiful things from the forest and the sea... The most important ingredients I infuse in every single creation are MAGIC, PASSION and LOVE! :)

Why the name ChaNoJa? All began with three creative friends: Chandani - Norbert - Jael!
My enthusiasm for polymer clay was so contagious that I took two dear friends with me into the fascinating world of unlimited possibilities of creative expression - and ChaNoJa was born! In this shop you will find creations mostly by me and some by Norbert and Jael.

My story and what influences my style:
I spent my childhood in an ancient 700 year old house at the edge of a forest in "Zürcher Oberland" in Switzerland, my father a painter, my mother a teacher. The artistic had been present at all times in my early childhood.

I was infected with the dangerous "travel-bug" at the age of 21 :) Travelling was what I most loved to do, until polymer clay found me! :) I visited quite a few countries around the globe: in South East Asia, the Middle East, USA, Canada , Ghana and Costa Rica. I got deeply involved with many different cultures and customs, which broadened my horizon massivly, made me more open and intensified my perception of life itself. These experiences define who I am today and strongly influence my creation style.

I appreciate you having a look at my shop! If you have a question, a wish, a dream, a complaint or a critique, I'm always open to hear it! Please help me to learn and improve. I love inspiring custom orders!

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I love inspiring custom orders and I will do them whenever possible! But note that every piece is unique and never a copy of another item.

All ChaNoJa items are carefully and lovingly handcrafted, therefore one of a kind. Every single creation exists only once!

Sizing details and photos

The photos of my items are taken in Macro (close up) and I've added one photo with my hand so you can see its approximate size. If you need accurate sizing, please message me.

The length of the cord is always mentioned in the description.

Also - the colors may appear ever so subtly different depending on lighting and also can vary with different computer monitors.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every one of my sweet "babies" will come securely packaged in bubble wrap and in a colorful little organza bag or paper box.
If you have a special wish, please contact me.

Wholesale availability & discounts

I don't offer wholesale as all my creations are one of a kind and no two items are exactly the same. But in some special cases I can give a discount, just ask me letting me know the reason why you would want one.

Reservations & split payments

I can reserve your piece for free for maximum 1 week = 7 days. If you want to reserve it for longer, I will need a down payment.

I am aware that my wearable art is quite an investment so I understand that you may need some time to pay it off. Thats why I welcome split payments. Please send me a message to arrange a payment plan.

FREE Shipping & lost packages

I recently decided to offer free shipping. I have included these costs into my item prices.

Generally, I send my creations with tracking number. In case a package is lost, be assured that I will work with you on a fair solution! Customer care is important to me! I want that your shopping experience with me is a pleasant one, even when something goes wrong.

When the item price is low compared to the shipping costs, I may decide to send it UNREGISTERED which is always mentioned in the product description.

My packages are mostly recycled and I don't charge anything for them.

Damage due to your doing: I offer to repair it for free whenever possible, but shipping both ways is at your cost.

Shipping damage: I wrap your items securely but accidents can happen. Should it be faulty once received, I will accept its return in order to repair it. Send me a photo within 7 DAYS of receipt. It may be easier to repair it by yourself. Contact me to discuss the matter and read Care instructions. In this case, the shipping both ways is at my postage cost.
Once I receive the item, if the problem cannot be rectified, a full refund (not including shipping) will be given.

Care instructions

Your piece is clay art and should be treated with care!

Don't get it wet. Water can loosen the gemstones, it may cause the clay to become brittle. A bit of rain will not affect it, wipe it gently with a cotton cloth. Don't swim or shower with it. If exposed to constant direct sunlight, it will fade over time, especially the eyes.

Clay is strong, but dropping it onto a hard surface may crack it. If this happens, use a good jewelers glue like E6000 or a two component transparent epoxy glue. Use a toothpick to apply on tiny surfaces.

Ensure that the cord is in good condition, that knots are tight and secure. If a knot opens or if you have to replace a cord, google "sliding knot tutorial" and follow the instructions.
