WHY PURCHASE FROM CHANTECLAIR INTERIORS?
Chanteclair Interiors has been been a resource for home and garden treasures for over forty years. It is a store geared towards those seeking beautiful unique and unusual home accessories and garden items ... delivered with personalized service. I take pride in each and every personally selected item and value each buyer.

While shipping states 1-2 days, I do try to ship within one (1) business day (excluding special frame orders weekends, and holidays). NOTE: on rare occasions, some credit card purchases may take a couple of days to clear and process.

In order to deliver on my promise of exceptional customer service, I take very seriously, the responsibility to observe high standards when conducting business and every item is packed with utmost care.

Please make sure that you have added Etsy as a Contact in your emails so that any communications regarding your purchase do not go to your Junk Mail and get missed.

CONDITION OF ITEMS
Any and all concerns regarding an item I am selling are detailed in each individual

CAN I RESERVE OR LAYAWAY AN ITEM?
Yes, for a small $5.00-$10.00 deposit, an item can be placed on RESERVE and held for 48 hours ... or you can inquire about my layaway options. Just contact me to discuss.
Should you have special circumstances ... let me know, so we can make those arrangements. I am always open to working with you!
I generally require 1/3 down for layaways. NOTE: All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

DO I COMBINE ORDERS?
Absolutely! I can combine your multiple purchases into one box if it all fits safely. If you wish to purchase multiple items, simply email me with your exact shipping address, I will then calculate the shipping and make the adjustment before you make your purchases. If you purchase multiple items without getting an estimate beforehand, I will always issue a refund for any postage overage that exceeds $2.00.

1. Prices quoted are for the continental US only. For Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico contact for shipping quote.
2. Prices vary greatly between the east and west coast (I'm on the west coast. My prices quoted are for the furthest distance from my location (West Coast). For a more accurate shipping quote email me with your exact location and I can give give you an accurate quote to your location.
3. Large items, or items purchased for more than $200 will require that you furnish a contact phone number for the shipper in case there is a need to contact you.
4. When placing order Please be sure to double check your address and confirm.

CAN I USE A DIFFERENT METHOD OF SHIPPING OR EXPEDITE?
Yes. Just email me with your request. I will check on the options available, and any additional charges that may need to be added.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
No. I do not ship internationally.

ARE ITEMS MASSED PRODUCED?
My items are generally one-of-a-kind antique or vintage, with all available pieces being listed. On occasion, I might come across an item that, in the past, was multiple produced. Popular frame styles were massed produced during certain periods. If I have a pair (or more), I will indicate in the “Quantity Available” section. My “Shadow Work” technique on frames is one-of-a-kind, and while I do attempt to have frames be a close match, each frame will have its own unique look.

DO I MAKE MY FRAMES?
No. All frames are antique or vintage... found at local estate sales and then hand colored with my “Shadow Work” technique of specially blended pigments and glaze.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
I do not accept returns or exchanges. Be sure to read an item description in its entirety and view all photos, as they are considered to be part of the item description. If you hover over a photo and click, you can see and scan a larger view of item. Click again for a microscopic close-up!

Once a custom order has been initiated, I do not accept cancellation, and buyer will be billed full price of custom ordered item. Numerous emails can be exchanged regarding specific requirements. I will send emails for the buyer to see as the order progresses, and photos are sent for final approval of the order before it is shipped.

I try to be forthright in both description and photos. A return will be accepted if it is found that I have not described an item correctly. Buyer must notify me with 48 hours (two days) of received item. Once I have been notified, item must be returned same as shipped and insured, and within seven days of receipt. Once item has been received and found to be in same condition as shipped, refund will be issued.

WHAT IF ITEM DAMAGED IN SHIPPING?
I spare no expense in making sure that each and every item is carefully and professionally packaged for safe shipping. However, on rare occasions, the postal system still manages to defy all odds and break something!

-Notify me within 48 hours of receipt, along with photo of damage, and RETAIN ALL PACKAGING!

- If item was shipped through USPS, the buyer files damage claim online with post office.

- If item was shipped via FedEx, notify me within 48 hours of receipt, with photos. We can discuss options and claim process ...1. File damage claim with FedEx, or 2. File claim for repairs.

Either way, RETAIN ALL PACKAGING AND BOX. I will file a proper claim.
