About

"A line is a dot that went for a walk." Paul Klee

It all began in college where my boyfriend and I designed, made and sold a line of wonderful suede and lucite belts. We would spend evenings making the belts and weekends selling to boutiques along the streets of SoHo and Greenwich Village. I have bumped into one or two of those beautiful old belts in recent years and it's like seeing an old, familiar friend. They never became dated and that was our goal.

A stint in my university's wonderful metals program gave me a nice foundation for working with silver and other metals. Although I pushed metalwork to the side to pursue my love of glass, I'm hoping to introduce more and more of those skills to my jewelry in the near future.

When I discovered glass and all of it's marvels, whether hot (lamp work), warm (kiln work) or cold (traditional stained glass construction), it fascinated me with it's unlimited adaptations and I am constantly learning new ways of working with it.

I do hope you enjoy the colors and the shapes and visit often.
