Being a German I am very picky with homemade Jam and your Strawberry Rhubarb jam is exactly what I was looking for, not overly sweet and with the nice taste of rhubarb , wonderful ! This glass won't last very long so I am going to be back for more ! Thank you for making this delicious jam.

When I decided that I wanted to have a blanket made out of a piece of my husband's treasured t-shirt collection, I did a lot of research. There are a lot of places out there that claim to do the job quickly and cheaply, but the reviews were awful. These blankets would fall apart in the wash and wear out in a short amount of time. I was happy I went with Maria, who is incredibly skilled at what she does. This blanket is gorgeous, incredibly high quality and it's going to last forever. So pleased.

About

Do what you love, and you'll never work another day in your life

I learned how to quilt from a friend around 2000, and it was my favorite hobby. As a corporate cog quickly trying to climb the ladder, I had increasingly less time to spend on it. When I lost my job (thankfully) in 2009, I decided that my hobby needed to become my job. I took classes and increased my skill set and here we are. I do work for the Texas Department of Agriculture, Quilts of Valor Foundation and local charities through the guilds to which I belong. I have been awarded for my quilting work and jams at major state venues. I would never trade my lifestyle or passion for my work now for the paycheck I used to have.

Thanks for coming to my shop! This former hobby is now my primary source of income, so I can assure you I take the quality of my craft very seriously. But if I haven't already created what you are looking for, convo me and I can make it for you!

I rotary cut and machine piece my quilts, I use all cotton material and thread. I can tie, stitch in the ditch or do intricate or all over quilting depending on the request of a buyer or what I want the final quilt to look like. All my artwork is machine washable (cold water) as well as sturdy enough for the dryer!

No one in my household smokes, so my area is smoke free. Unless otherwise stated, your item will be unwashed, clean, unused and smoke free!

Payment
I prefer paypal, but if you prefer to send me a check, please understand I will require payment prior to shipping your item. I also accept money orders.
Shipping
I would be happy to offer expedited shipping at cost. I will generally ship USPS flat rate.
Refunds and Exchanges
I still have my very first quilt from about 13 years ago in fantastic shape (a little faded because I didn't wash it cold). If you order from me you will have my information and I will fix any issues down the line (believe me, it would be at least a decade before you'd need it) from your purchase that originated from my sewing or fabric I provided.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you buy an item from me, you are making a purchase that will last you for a lifetime. I use quality material and thread, stitch closely and double check my work throughout my process. Know that if you purchase one of my creations, you are getting something beautiful, useful and sturdy.
