These slippers have been popular in our house and in the houses of cousins! Made for toddler size 8 and up.
Finding joy, creating everyday items for you!
I truly love what I do. There is something therapeutic about having the time and space to create something useful that someone can use and love. I started this business making fleece baby booties mostly because I came across a pattern that looked cute, manageable and maybe I could turn it into a baby gift since I knew many moms having babies. The desire to make booties morphed into making slippers which morphed into other products I felt I could use for myself. So, if it was something I felt I could use I wanted to make it for others. All items are handsewn by me in my little sewing room in Calgary, Alberta!

Frequently asked questions
Can I return an order?
Yes, I will accept returns on non-custom orders.
Please note: If you have placed a custom order (ie. A custom order is placed by messaging me, and purchasing a listing specific to your request) these are non refundable.
For any return, the cost of shipping back to Cheerful Threads will be at the expense of the buyer.
Custom and personalized orders
If the item has not shipped and postage has NOT been purchased, you may cancel the order.
Can you guarantee a shipping date?
Unfortunately, once the item is out of my hands I have no control over how quickly an item will be received by the buyer. Typically, regular post takes 7-10 days in Canada.
Care instructions
Most of my items are made of 100% cotton which makes it easy to care for. Almost all of my items can be washed in cold water and tumble dried on low heat. Keep in mind, cotton is known to shrink even when you're taking the utmost care! It also never hurts to hang items to dry.

Sizing details
A common question is about the sizing on the BOOTIES.
I base the size on the length of the babies foot. There is some stretch in the fleece but it is always best to go to the next size up if you are not certain:
Preemie -- 3.5"
2-4 month -- 4"
4-6 month -- 4.5"
6-9 month -- 5"
9-12 month -- 5.5"
12-18 month -- 6"
Custom and personalized orders
I do custom orders if something you are looking for is not currently in my shop. Send me a message describing what you're looking for and I will create a 'custom listing' and I will use your initials in the title of the listing. Once the listing has been paid for, I will begin creating whatever item is purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned once the order has been placed.
