4 out of 5 starsLove, love, love my Save the dates. They are absolutely beautiful. Perfect. Simple yet classy with the eggplant purple envelopes. My only suggestion is for a shorter, streamline process. I have letter pressed wedding invitations that didn't take two weeks to process, and came from the U.K.
Other than that! Easy transaction! Great product. Thanks again. -

5 out of 5 starsI love the design of the invitations I ordered from this shop. I wasn't able to afford the print version so I'm really happy that the seller was willing to sell me the PDF so I could print it myself.

3 out of 5 starsI did like my save the dates. Was looking forward to ordering the matching invitations but the order process takes a little long. The communication with the owner is slow and delays things. Was willing to give her another chance but after ordering my sample invitation decided to go with someone else.

3 out of 5 starsProduct is nice. Communication with owner is really bad. Asked a question when I placed the order. Never got an answer. I don't understand why it takes so long to send out a sample. Nothing was personalized. You would think the samples were pre-printed for immediate shipping not 5 days.

Artisan Letterpress Wedding Invitations
Hello! I'm Alaina, the designer, printer, and "boss lady" at Cheer Up Press. I have been running this small invitation studio out of my home since 2009. I have a background in graphic design and studio art, but always knew where I belonged: fully devoted to the world of stationery and invitations... Long live snail mail!
In 2012, I sought to offer my clients a more boutique experience by offering letterpress wedding invitations. I now offer custom letterpress invitations and stationery produced entirely in-house, by hand on my circa 1930 Chandler and Price foot-powered press.
If you're still wondering what exactly letterpress is, then wonder no more! Letterpress is an antique printing process that involves a raised form that presses ink into soft papers, leaving behind the ink but also a beautiful, tactile impression. We hand mix our own ink, and papers are hand fed into the press, one color at a time. Unlike conventional printers that can print dozens of colors at once, letterpress printing requires that the printer put one color of ink on the press at a time, with each color requiring a full wash-up of the press before the next color is added.
A few years ago, I began offering real wooden wedding invitations, designed in-house and digitally printed. Wooden invitations are another beautiful and unique offering that I am so excited about sharing with the world. Since no two trees are exactly alike, no two wooden invitations are going to be exactly alike -- and I think that's pretty amazing. The wood veneer I use is designed especially for digital printing and is not only sourced sustainably, but it requires fewer trees to produce than regular paper. Does it get any better than that?
If you're after something that will leave a lasting impression on your guests and become a conversation piece for years to come, letterpress or real wood is the way to go. I would love nothing more than to create the wedding invitations you've been dreaming of since you were a kid -- let's work together!
