Pastry Chef Turned Milliner

So almost 11 years ago I really wanted this amazing pillbox hat. My husband said it was too expensive so I tried making it myself. After completing an amazing hat I was hooked and devoted my free time to learning the traditional art of millinery. I studied under Joy Scott in Chicago and got the basics to get me going.

Since then it's been a whirlwind of crazy hats coming out of my shop. I've gone from glue gunning cardboard and fabric to creating 100% hand sewn beauties. I strive to make each hat quirky, one of a kind fascinators, hats, and headpieces perfect for all occasions.

I've been worn to the Grammy's, been on the New York Fashion Runway, The Carrie Diaries, Disney and to hat lovers all over the world.

Ex-Pastry Chef Turned Milliner

Since 2010 my love for felt baubles and hair accessories had grown into the art in millinery. Study under Milliner Joy Scott I have been able to take those lessons and make my own unique quirky millinery style.

In the 9 years of hat making have been seen at The Grammys, on a New York Fashion Runway, Kiki Magazine, Disney, The Carrie Diaries, Major Print Publications, and on many stylish ladies.

Everything is done by hand in my studio. Each stitch my own. I hope you enjoy my crazy creations as much as I do.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Made To Order Hat, Deck Of Card Headpieces, Sale Items, and custom orders are not exchangable.

I'm happy to repair if something is damaged along the way if possible. Should a hat be too big or small I am happy to adjust it. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, including full insurance and tracking.

ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL SALES. No exchanges unless the item is somehow defective or damaged. During the design process, I will make every effort to work closely with you and communicate color and trim details, substitutions, etc. so there will be no final surprises. Always feel free to ask questions or make requests, but after the final design has been agreed upon, any changes may incur additional fees.


These are all hand stitched products. Adhesive is used rarely and if so only to help baubles to hold. Please realize this is a hand made item and look at the photos well before purchasing. Made to orders may differ slightly from original in listing photos. Please note the color may be different depending on your computer. If you have any questions on color or sizes that are not listed please contact me before purchasing so I may get more photos and measurements for you.

If ordering internationally I CANNOT MARK PACKAGE AS GIFT. Any taxes, customs, or related fees will be your responsibility at the time of receipt. In the case of a item being sent back due to refusal to pay fees/non pick-up the client must contact shop owner. If the package is returned to Seller a store credit will be issued or the hat can be re-shipped again. Seller will not cover or refund shipping costs.

Rushed orders can be arranged at the buyer’s cost. Please send me a message to set this up.

All ready to ship hat purchases will be shipped out within 1-2 business days of payed order. If it's a Made To Order Item I will let you know estimated shipping time.

International Shipping

First Class Mail 7-21 Days
Priority Mail 6-10 Days

Please know that any delays in these times is out of my control and make sure to give you hat enough time to arrive.

International Orders please know that I will not mark a package as a gift. Any taxes, customs, or related fees will be your responsibility at the time of receipt. In the case of a item being sent back due to refusal to pay fees/non pick-up the client must contact shop owner.

If the package is returned to Seller a store credit will be issued or the hat can be re-shipped again. In the event that this happens I will contact you as well. Seller will not cover or refund shipping costs.

Please contact me if your package arrives damaged. While a rare occurrence it does happen. All packages are insured for cases like this. Please take photos of hat and box and send within 1 day of package arrival. Then mail the piece back to me in original box with tracking. Once it arrives I will create you a new piece. Keep in mind that it may take some time to remake the piece.

In the case of a item being sent back due to refusal to pay custom fees/non pick-up/taxes the client must contact shop owner. If the package is returned to Seller a store credit will be issued or the hat can be re-shipped again. Seller will not cover or refund shipping costs.

In the case of a class or workshop that is paid and are unattended a credit will be applied to your account or you can makeup the class at your convenience.

To keep shipping costs low I do try and use recycled boxes. Please note the cost also includes packaging materials, insurance, etc.
Additional policies and FAQs
SIZING
Most of my hats are a one size fits all. For cloches, fedoras, and styles similar most are 22 1/2" hat size. Size will be noted in the description of each hat; if you need it a little bit smaller or larger, please add a brief comment to your order.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom inquiries are always welcome! Full payment is required before starting the piece. You will be sent pictures throughout the process to make sure this is avoided.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for completion of your custom order, plus shipping time. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.

I’m always happy to take on any hat order no matter how simple or crazy. Each piece can be customized to theme or color palette for your next hat wearing event.

Sizing details

Most hats are one size fits all unless otherwise specified. Any hat that is a specific size can be stretched or have a adjustable ribbon put in to insure a perfect hat fit.
