About

A farm shop with purpose....

Chelsea's Acres started in 2008 when Chelsea, a disabled adult, needed to find a job. She loved animals, she loved to knit. What could she do? Her parents purchased some dairy goats, a flock of sheep, some angora rabbits, and Chelsea's Acres Fiber and Soap shop was born. We are being reskilled. Chelsea knows slow. Almost all fiber is from our farm, which we hand process ourselves, minimal commercial yarn is used in a project. We make luxurious goat milk soaps using essential oils and herbs from our own garden, and beautiful yarns, batts, and all things fiber for 7 years. We hope you will check out our store, everything is made with care, a grass roots farm with sustainability in mind. We also carry Ashford spinning wheels, looms and products. We weave on our Ashford looms, and our Saori loom.
