A girl who has "antsy pants" hands. ;-)

My name is Chelsea and I love to make things with my hands. From the age of 16 on I have been a published and paid photographer. I love capturing images and being able to manipulate and edit them. (Just so you know, the jewelry is never edited in my photos. Only lightened or darkened according to how they truly look. The colors are always accurate.) I spent many years in the fashion/product photography industry and my work has been published on the front of many magazines.
About 6 years ago a friend introduced me to knitting, where I learned how to knit gloves, hats, blankets, sweaters, tops. You name it, I want to make it...except socks. Agh. I love everything fiber and contemplate learning how to weave.
I started making jewelry last year, and got heavily into it 2016 when I got tendonitis and haven't been able to knit since. My hands have to stay busy, and I don't seem to have the pain from making jewelry.
I love the colors, textures and options that jewelry offers me. I am mostly drawn to rough stones, in blues, browns, greens, and purples. My favorite stones are turquoise and opals and hopefully you will be seeing more of them in the near future. I like "bulky but sweet" jewelry. Jewelry that has some substance, but I'm aware that the delicate, wire wrapped jewelry is what is trending now, so I'm trying my hand at that, as in reflected in my store.
I am going to be taking a class on soldering and hopefully I will be able to transfer the silver designs into my beaded jewelry.
We will see where the jewelry journey takes us. I'm always open to the ideas of my customers, so if you would like a custom piece, just let me know.
Take Care,
Chelsea ;-)
