About

A Journey of Creative Expression

I'm a multimedia artist. Bead making is the latest iteration of my creative journey. I started at 14 doing portraits in oils. Later I got into graphite pencil and then I discovered colored pencils. The best of both worlds- the precision of pencil in color! In 2005 I bought a lampworking torch and found a new love! Making glass beads is challenging and rewarding. Glass bead making is my main creative pursuit at the moment.

Recently I've begun digital art with a Wacom tablet and stylus. Boy is that a lot of fun!

My statement as an artist is that I am trying to create something beautiful in what can be an ugly world. I believe that my talent is God-given. My goal is to uplift others with my art.

From the time I was old enough to scribble in my mother's books, I have been an artist. I have worked in many mediums, including oil paints, pencil, colored pencil and most recently in hot glass.
