Photos are accurate (maybe a little better in person). Love the thought that goes into the piece. There were two others that I wanted, but didn’t buy quick enough. Shipped quickly and packaged well.

Everything Cheryl creates is so wonderful and unique; just so full of sensibility and soul! Beautifully made, even better than appeared in listing.

The photos show just how lovely her work is, but in person you can really see her workmanship. I love my owl, I also just bought a winter scene and plan on adding another soon.

This Christmas ornament is absolutely beautiful! Cheryl’s craftsmanship is exquisite, and I know that my mother-in-law will look forward to putting this ornament on her tree every year. Thank you Cheryl!

As always stunning and manages to transport you to the scene! Beautiful workmanship and better than any photo!
Original textile collages made with hand dyed cottons, batik and vintage fabrics
Thank you for stopping by. My name is Cheryl, I'm inspired by nature, vintage books and textiles, my garden and music. My work is always evolving. I was a painter and a quilter for many years before I began experimenting with fabric collage. There are so many colors, textures, patterns and types of fabric to work with that allow me to achieve a texture I can't get with paint and fabric collage has become the primary focus of my work. I guess I've evolved to "painting" with fabric and thread. I studied art history and studio art in college - this has a huge influence on my work ...
I live in New England and find the landscape here infinitely inspiring - marshes, bright shining skies and snowy fields often find their way into my pieces. Other common themes in my work are music, bits of anything French, birds, and my garden.
I'm a juried member of The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen for fiber art. I exhibit my work in New England galleries and fine art and craft fairs.
