Style Inspired by a City

Named for the Windy City, Chicagolandia Jewelry was born from a love of urban style and ecofriendly natural elements with a generous dose of wanderlust. I have long been inspired by the curious blend of industry and nature, sweeping vistas and towering skyscrapers, bustling city streets and peaceful expanses of green my home city has to offer. With my love of jewelry and an eco-conscious mindset, I opened shop on Etsy to sell the jewelry I love to create.

Materials that make a difference.

My modern, eclectic style fully embraces natural elements, clean lines, and the occasional classic print. From sustainable harvesting of wood, pearls, and mother of pearl shell to unique gemstones, and fair trade and vintage glass beads, I'm constantly inspired by Mother Nature, the ultimate artist.

Rather than using plastic beads (which sell under the names of resin, acrylic, and lucite), I use only high quality glass from the Czech Republic, India, and Italy, sustainable wood beads, natural and dyed shell beads, pearls, metal, lampwork glass beads crafted from artisans across the globe, and gemstone beads for a collection of timeless creations that are truly one of a kind.

Why did I open an Etsy shop?

To share my love of design and unique treasures with you! I believe that fashion should be affordable and I create quality at a fair price. All the jewelry pieces you'll find in my shop are priced under $100 and some items are even less than $15. When you purchase from Chicagolandia Jewelry, you are buying a one of a kind pair of earrings, made with wonderful natural elements and these earrings are modern, bohemian, and are a great way to add a classic piece to your wardrobe, find something that is just your style, have a design custom made for you, or just keep you on trend.

I believe in being your own woman and embracing your natural style - whether you are bohemian chic, a corporate powerhouse, haute couture, a fitness fanatic, a bride-to-be, or just a jeans and tee-shirt kind of gal - you will find something here to fit exactly your idea of style. At Chicagolandia Jewelry, I design beautiful handcrafted jewelry using ecofriendly, natural, vintage, and fair trade beads.

In my shop, you will never find plastic, resin, or acrylic beads - I believe fashion should be affordable and my earrings combine natural elements of shell, wood, stone, and pearls with high quality glass and crystal beads for a look that is timeless.

A restocking fee of up to $3.50 (per product) will be assessed on refunds.

In the event an item arrives in any condition other than what the original listing photos show, I will be glad to fix the item, and return it at no additional charge. Items must be returned via first class mail with insurance and delivery confirmation and be properly packaged. I cannot assume responsibility for returns that are sent back without being properly packaged, insured, and that do not include delivery confirmation. If an item is damaged beyond reasonable repair, I will be glad to ship another identical or similar item, if I have no items identical to the one ordered in my shop, you can select an item of equal value.

Please send me clear photos of the packaging and product (for items that arrived damaged) within 48 hours of receipt of shipment so I can determine how best to resolve the problem. All purchases are insured with 3rd party shipping insurance and per the insurer's request, documentation of damage is required.

If the item is damaged beyond reasonable repair, I will be happy to (as applicable) make another item or allow you to choose a replacement product from my shop of equal value. I cannot replace or refund your purchase UNTIL I receive all necessary documentation of the damaged packaging and the damaged item.

If the item is repairable, please send the item back and I will have it fixed and will refund you the charges for First Class shipping as applicable.
I accept Paypal and credit cards via Direct Checkout for payment.

PayPal does not require you to have an account in order to use a credit card through their service. You can use a PayPal account OR credit card.

Domestic Shipping

All orders include tracking information and insurance. It is my responsibility to make sure your order arrives safely and in good condition, that is why I include shipping insurance on all orders I send. If you have any issues, please contact me ASAP so I can address them quickly.

*Unclaimed Packages/Return to Sender:
*Items that are returned as undeliverable or unclaimed will be reshipped at the buyer's expense OR will be subject to a restocking fee of up to $3.50 per item purchased.

Damaged Package:

* Contact me within 48 hours if your order arrives damaged.
* Please save all packaging and the product.
* Send me clear, detailed photos of the product AND the packaging.
* Forms will need to be filled out by both myself and you to file the insurance claim for damaged package. I am unable to refund/reship until the claim has been filled out and return to me.
* I will process your refund as soon as I have received the necessary forms filled out by you.

If the above steps are not done, I will be unable to issue you a refund.

Lost Package:

* Packages are not considered lost until 21 days from the date of shipping according to the United States Postal Service.
* If your item is lost, I will happily replace with an identical or comparable item.
* If I an unable to recreate your item, you can select an item of equal value from my shop as a replacement or I can issue you a full refund.

International Shipping:

* International orders can take between 10-45 days to be delivered.
* Orders to Canada generally take 8-15 days to arrive.
* Orders to Asia and Australia generally take 30-45 days to arrive.
* Orders to Europe generally take 12-28 days to arrive.
* All orders ship via USPS First Class Mail with insurance.
* Please note your country's postal system, service, and policies.
* Customers are responsible for all customs, tariffs, dues, and VAT.
* For UK customers, please note your country's handling/brokering fees and VAT charges.
* I am unable to mark an order as a "gift". This action constitutes mail fraud.

You are responsible for knowing what items your country allows through customs. Refunds will not be issued for items that are not cleared through customs nor will refunds be issued to cover the import fees assessed by your country. as it is unlawful for me to do so. Custom and personalized orders

I am happy to work on custom orders for my customers, from new designs to changing colors or stones on existing designs I offer, I'm always happy to work on something special just for you.

Custom orders are non-refundable, but I am always willing to make adjustments so that you are happy with your purchase. Custom orders will be held for 72 hours before being offered for sale to the public unless prior arrangements are made.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All orders come with a handcrafted, made in the USA gift bag, perfect for gifting! Need a gift enclosure card? I will include one free of charge. Simply leave the wording you want in the card in quotes (" ") in the Notes to Seller section before you check out.

Wholesale availability

Wholesale pricing discounts are as follows:

Orders of 50 or more products receive a 15% discount.
Orders of 100 or more products receive a 25% discount.
Orders of 250 or more products receive a 50% discount.

Wholesale pricing does not include items in my SALE section or custom designs without prior authorization. Let me know if you'd like a special line designed just for your store, I would be happy to work with you.

Care instructions

*Choking hazard – my jewelry is not made or intended for children. Jewelry is intended for those 14 year and older.

*Sterling silver and gold-filled metals will tarnish when they are exposed to water, chemicals, and air due to a process called oxidation. To help keep your jewelry from oxidizing, keep it stored in the sealed bag I provide and out of direct sunlight.

* If sterling silver becomes tarnished, wipe thoroughly with an anti-tarnish cloth. Do not submerge in water.

Sizing details

All sizes are listed for each product in both inches and centimeters, for your convenience.

Sizing may vary by as much as 1-3mm as I work with natural stones and materials which have a slight variance in size.

Returns on Custom Orders

Unless otherwise noted, custom orders are non-refundable unless the order is lost, damaged, or has a flaw or defect.


Your satisfaction with your purchase from Chicagolandia Jewelry is my goal.

Steps to take to return an item:

1. Contact me within 48 hours of receipt of item via the Etsy internal messaging system.
2. Ship the package, tracking and insurance are recommended, via USPS or your country's postal service. Items must be unworn and in their original packaging.
3. Message me on Etsy with the tracking information within 24 hours of shipping.
4. Item must be received by me within 10 days of your receipt of original package.

Tracking and insurance are highly recommended for your protection.
Your refund will be issued within 48 hours of receipt of package and only available for items in new condition. I am not responsible for lost packages.

Lost Package

It is my responsibility to make sure your order arrives as described and in a timely fashion.

If an item is lost in transit, I'll be glad to replace it after the postal system's requisite 21 day waiting period has passed and the necessary documentation has been filed.

Please note that there is a buyer form that must be submitted in order for a replacement item to be sent or a refund to be issued.

**Per USPS policy, I cannot start the process for tracking a lost package until 21 days after the date the packaged shipped.**
