This bag is HUGE! I have a sweater I'm working on in it now with all my yarn and there's still tons of room!

This is a nice case, but I like my larger one better.

Love this case! All my tips in one place....at least until I buy more tips! ;-)

Great product, well thought out and made. It is super cute and durable, and I love that is has a clear front so I can see what I'm looking for.

About
Chicken Boots?
My daughter calls our boots our 'chicken boots' since that is what we do our chores in and we all agreed that we needed something separate to wear while visiting our chickens so we didn't track sawdust in the house.
I have had a great career -and even a long one for my age- in the garment industry but after mentoring a wonderful program at a local high school I became interested in designing for myself. In the state of California, though, there is an antiquated law on the books preventing one from making clothes at their home and then selling them. So I opted for non-wearables and took my love of knitting as inspiration!
Now I spend every day listening to audiobooks while I sew the hours away, and the nights puzzling out sewing issues. I slip in fabric shopping, notions shopping, marketing, and designing every spare minute! I love the engineering side of design and excel at pattern making and sewing.
It isn't easy but I know this life sure looks ideal. My husband is supportive enough to let me get this going and hopefully, with a little moderation, planning and a pinch of cleverness, maybe Chicken Boots will employ others! That's my goal.
It goes without saying that I am busy.
But my most important goal is to always keep my line made in the U.S. and preach the benefits of this to anyone who will listen. If we want jobs, we have to be willing to pay for things made here, in the U.S. I am all about a bargain but paying $15 for jeans is not a solution to our problems. We have to slowly get used to paying fair wages for good products. But enough of my platform.
Thanks for stopping by and I am so glad you did!

I really like function! It's a strange word but I base just about everything I make on this one thing. That and color! I was trained in the fashion industry, crossed over to the outdoor/technical industry and ended up here. And I am so happy I did.
Shop policies
My number one commitment is to making everything in the United States. I am VERY committed to keeping my line domestically produced for many reasons. My designs bear this in mind: highly functional, not a lot of extra bells and whistles, high quality, affordable to produce, long lasting, and colorful.
***If you see an item in the shop but want it in one of the other fabrics show, please just ask! Chances are I have one or will within a very short amount of time.
I am also committed to supporting your local yarn store!
