Current timing for custom wedding illustrations (without a rush order):
Design Phase (initial samples delivered via email): roughly 3-5 weeks
Revisions Phase (requested changes executed): roughly 1-3 weeks
Production Phase (printing, cutting, assembling): roughly 2 weeks
Prints ship after production phase concludes. Rush orders are limited and first come, first serve. Thank you!

All of my guests and recipients of her cards cannot compliment her work enough! From communication to design work and changes, she was so helpful with the entire process from start to finish. I really cannot say enough and will definitely be buying more things soon! So amazing to work with and all of the products are amazing!! We got save the dates, beautiful envelopes and inserts, invites, map cards, rsvps, a reception card, we got the wooden dessert sign, a commemorative wooden sign of our invite, a cake topper, a tumbler, wax seals and twine for my invites and a lifetime of beautiful memories! Oh and she captured our dogs beautifully! We are so grateful! Thank you so much Liz!! We are so HAPPY!!!

Frequently asked questions
If I see a design you created for a previous client I would like to reuse for my wedding, can I purchase prints or digital files of that exact design (or only change the illustration of the couple)?
I take pride in creating one-of-a-kind designs for each couple for their special day. If you are in love with a previous design I have created we can work together to create something with a similar vibe, but each wedding design will remain custom and unique.
How do I reserve a spot for my wedding project on your very limited calendar?

Is the design fee a separate charge from prints?
Yes. The design fee is a fee for the creation of your custom illustration. It also acts as a placeholder for your project on my limited schedule. Prints and/or the high resolution digital files (available for most designs) are available after you approve your design samples via email.
Can I purchase a design fee now, and start my project later?
Yes. I accept limited orders, I recommend you book your project as soon as you know you would like to work together.
What if I find the timing does not work for my project after booking?
I sometimes offer rush orders for a fee (first come, first serve). Cancellations are not accepted even if you fail to read the timing prior to booking. Please be sure to read the timing listed in the item description.
Are timing quotes guaranteed?
Timing for custom illustration projects are quoted as rough estimates. Timing does vary from project to project. Please keep this in mind when booking.
What if my wedding is cancelled?
Design fees act as a placeholder for your project on my limited calendar. As a small business who accepts limited orders, I do not offer refunds for cancellations for any reason. Thank you for understanding.
Can I transfer my purchase to another item?
Sales are non-transferrable.
What if I find a mistake on my prints?
I do my best to ensure each design is perfect, and I recommend each client have multiple other people read over their designs prior to printing. Chicks n Hens is not responsible for any error found after printing. Refunds will not be provided for errors found after printing (even if the mistake was my fault). In the rare instance that this occurs, please do reach out. I am happy to work with you on correcting any errors and new prints.
How are designs created?
All of my custom illustrations are created based off of submitted questionnaire information + photos of the people, pets, and locations the clients provide. I create each illustration from sketch to final print in my art studio in Indianapolis, Indiana.
