Announcement   Chi for Healing with Erik Harris uses herbs, mushrooms, teas, tinctures, aromatherapy, crystals, stones, Chinese medicine, Acupressure, Reiki, Qi gong, Tai Chi, Tong Ren and other energy healing modalities to restore the body, mind, and spirit connection. Erik forages for wild medicinal and edible plants, herbs, and mushrooms. He uses some of these herbs in his blends, grows herbs, and acquires some herbs from local organic farmers to complete his blends.

The Pu er teas and Wulong teas he gets are directly from farmers in China. They come from high on the mountains from 500 year old tea trees. Because of where they are harvested they have powerful medicinal healing effects. The farmers use integrity during the whole process and you can feel the good energy from the tea as you drink it.

The items in Erik's shop are all tools that he used to heal himself from chronic pain. He was fortunate to have an apprenticeship with a world famous doctor of Chinese medicine where he learned the many facets of Traditional Chinese medicine. In addition to the apprenticeship he has taken certification courses in other modalities and integrated the disciplines into his daily life. This gives him a well rounded holistic approach to health and wellness.

Every time you sip a cup of tea, you can experience renewed energy. It is not from the caffeine, but from the energy that runs through the leaves and buds and builds on the energy that has nurtured millions of people. When you drink tea, you are drinking in thousands of years of medicinal healing. It is "liquid meditation" Every sip that is enjoyed every day adds to this universal energy.

BS, Erik Harris is the owner of Chi for Healing. He is a Qi Gong and Tai Chi practitioner, Asian body therapist, and Energy healer. Erik holds professional

He recommends herbs, teas, dietary changes, exercises, and detoxing to get to the root cause of dis-ease. About

Chi for Healing Tea, Qi Gong, Crystals and Aromatherapy, Foraging, Herbs, wild plants, mushrooms,

Erik Harris is a certified Qi Gong practitioner and energy healer. He has been studying under Dr. Ming Wu as an apprentice for many years and is certified through the Wu Healing Center. This program has been designed specifically to bring awareness to Chi (life force energy) and the ability it has to transform all aspects of life. Focus is on the body, mind, and spirit connection to show the inherent qualities within all of us that promote self-healing.

Erik finds that Qi Gong and Tai Chi allows us to empty our minds by focusing on the energy that flows through us. With the focus on Qi awareness comes to the present moment. In the present moment all things are possible.

He has also learned the art of kung fu tea and foraging. With wild organic teas from China and the U.S. He makes tea blends for healing and holds Kung Fu Tea ceremonies. Feeling the Qi from tea is liquid meditation. We sip the tea, feel good, and enjoy life.

His classes introduce a series of gentle standing exercises that focus on allowing energy to flow freely through the meridians of your body. The exercises will be relaxing and energizing at the same time. Students will feel a greater sense of well- being and deeper connection with all of life. Erik has taught at the Center for the Healing Arts at Hartford Family Institute, Yoga Center of Collinsville, the Growing Green Wellness center in Hartford, Jai Yoga in Glastonbury, Vital Life Center in Plainville, The Inner Space in Avon, Back in Touch Wellness Center in Granby, The Conduit in East Hartford, and Valley Yoga in Simsbury. In 2016 he is now teaching at the Wu Healing Center in West Hartford and The Facilitated Healing Center in Cromwell.

He also leads Earth walker Meditations and Forage walks with Qi Gong practice. He teaches workshops on an Introduction to Chinese Healing, Healthy Weight Loss Program, and Strengthen Immunity.
