About

Clayton Hill Studio

I am fortunate to have a creative, supportive, handy husband who is also a builder. In 2012, we completed our 1200sf on-site studio, which provides the perfect home-away-from-home escape to design and create.

It's in my studio, surrounded by rolling hills, woods, wetlands and fields that each piece of glass is designed, cut, fused, slumped, sanded and formed. You can keep up with our new projects, works in progress and other various (life) ramblings on our blog (link at right).

Thanks for visiting. Please contact us with any questions or inquiries about custom colors, designs, etc.

Currenlty, our studio artists are enthralled with the color combinations and swirling patterns in our modified pressed glass technique. Each piece of our glass art spends multiple hours in our kilns to create the unique colors/patterns we present, as well as to properly anneal the final product. As we have other interests in bottle glass, jewelry, etc. - you may find our inventory expanding ... Thank you for visiting. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. Thanks, Kris

10/2011: We've recently added dye-sublimation to our growing list of hobbies ... We can create custom items using your digital images ... Coffee mugs, coaster sets, ornaments, key chains, night lights ... Feel free to contact us with ideas or questions.
