Announcement   In Nov 2011 I had to face stage 4 lymphoma head on. I responded well to treatment, but in Nov 2014 it was back. I did a clinical trial at the University of Maryland and had a stem cell transplant using my own stem cells on Sept 16, 2015.
I just started a new chemo drug on March 10. This drug was just passed by the FDA. Sometime within the next few months I will have another stem cell transplant using stem cells from a donor.
I am telling you all of this just to let you know how far they have come in the research of blood cancers and to ask for your help to keep this research alive.
Due to the research of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society cancer is no longer a death sentence for a lot of people, but the chance to learn how to adjust and live with it.
All profits from my web site will be given to the LLS. My daughter Katie is competing for Woman of The Year through a fundraising event sponsored by LLS.
She has named her team Crafting A Cure. To learn more log on to Face Book
Katie Thomason 2016 LLS Crafting A cure.
One of contests is to see how many contributions they can get from every state in the US. I am asking all of you to be part of Crafting a Cure by making a donation through Pay Pal. Thank you Chris Fike
