I am a first generation Texan. My family was from the enchanted state of New Mexico for 400 years and prior to that, from Spain. As a child, I spent much of my quality time on my grandparent's chile farm in New Mexico. I paint, create mixed media art, mosaics, designs jewelry inspired by my heritage.

I am attracted primarily to the evocative power of colors, shapes and symbols that have traveled through time that bring with them the power to heal. Many of my creative ideas come to me in dreams, inspired by music or simply from just taking a walk. My goal is to spark emotion and to inspire others on their own journey.

While working as a graphic designer at the newspaper in Austin for 15 years, I found myself also doing graphic design, creating CD covers, websites, facebook pages and blogs for musician friends in the Austin area.
