Announcement    Decorative objects for the home, unique objects and textile art handmade in Canada by artist and interior designer Christine Grenier.

Welcome to my shop,

My production is divided between collections of decorative pillows with accents of nature and animals, throws as comfortable as beautiful, unique and whimsical decorative accessories like my elf stockings and textile art pieces where I expressed ideas and memories.

My creative concept is simple "Happiness as a lifestyle." I draw from my memories and what makes me happy to suggest family moments, a country atmosphere, a fishing lodge, a childhood memory ... My creations have a story to tell.

The collections of pillows are available in several assorted models that can be used alone or in a set. Whatever printed motifs or ones I embroider, the drawings are highlighted by original design and details in the process of making that characterize each piece. I design my accessories like textile art in which patterns, colors as well as textures all combine to challenge the senses. Versatile and neutral, they are lovely for a country house or a chalet chic as well as they provide a warming natural accent in an urban home.

I create a collection of Christmas stockings who draw their inspiration from traditional Christmas stocking exploring the magical world of elves. These creations offer me the opportunity to play with fabrics, trims, shapes, and colors in whimsical creativity to give a unique personality to each one.

Fantasy and exploration also influence the textile art pieces that I create according to the inspiration or the desire for technical research. I work with fabrics and fibers as a painter on his canvas to express an idea, a concept or a figurative representation.

The driving force behind my creations is the perpetual quest to craft new objects and give birth to original material elements. The need to touch and manipulate materials, play with color, create and superpose textures, draw shapes and decorate with small details is the process that drives me and that fuels my creative energy.

The little girl who drew paper dresses

Little girl, I drew small paper clothes for my paper dolls and I made clothing with fabric scraps for my Barbies. I learned sewing, embroidery, and knitting very young with my mother and my two grandmothers and also by looking at books and magazines. I've always created with textiles and it is quite natural that I studied in Haute Couture and interior design. Sewing has quickly become a part of my professional practice as an interior designer. My projects benefit from the personal touch of my creations: curtains, valances, roman shades, bedding, and pillows.

I love the fabrics and trims, manipulate, cut, assemble, make an object that is taking shape and gives personality to space. I like to combine colors, patterns, and textures, add details to create pieces that evoke a mood and stand out. Create a collection of accessories that coordinate with each other and keep their practicality is as stimulating to me than creating unique textile art that needs an artistic look. My artistic explorations inspire me to create my decorative items.

For my new collections, I use European fabrics for their beautiful hand drawn illustrations prints, with which I create timeless objects. Each drawing is enhanced by the addition of other fabrics or trimmings and the quilt work combining tradition with modernism. With European and American influences, my creations exude peacefulness and nostalgia.

These decorative objects offer several benefits, they have a unique character, a careful work, the possibility to mix multiple products, use products with different styles, they add an accent to several decors and have a professional Signature like my pieces of textile art.

For delivery outside of North America, standard service is a surface service that takes 4 to 12 weeks of delivery. If you want a service by plane, it must be chosen in the delivery options during the checkout.
