About

It's Tintastic!

I’m especially drawn to materials that are decidedly not precious--things some might even consider to be trash. In this vein, my current work is primarily concerned with upcycling decorative tin containers into art jewelry.

Finding the tins and selecting the most intriguing areas to work with is, in many ways, a holdover from my graphic design training. Oddly, I find it both comforting and challenging to work with found imagery.

The variety within the raw material is almost limitless, so I have focused largely on circles as a unifying theme, but as I grow in the work, I am also exploring different shapes and more complex constructions. It is by far the most engaging work I've ever done. I can't wait to see where it will next take me.

Payment
PayPal is my preferred payment method. If time is NOT of the essence, checks and money orders are also fine. I will ship your order upon receipt of payment.

Sales tax will be added to all Texas orders.
Shipping
I generally ship via USPS with a delivery confirmation and insurance if the package is valued over $50. If you prefer a different method, please get in touch with me PRIOR TO PURCHASING so I may properly adjust your shipping information and costs.

As a matter of philosophy, I don't overly package my pieces. Generally, I wrap the piece in tissue and place it in a kraft pillow box. That usually goes in a used manilla bubble mailer passed on from a friend. It doesn't always look pristine, but I feel it's important to use stuff up. If you're purchasing an item as a gift, I am happy to include a note or gift tag with your sentiments and package the piece in a fancier manner. Just leave me a message in the "Notes to Seller" box or contact me once you've made your purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
It's important to me that you love your piece(s). If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact me so we can figure out how to make things right.

Occasionally, pieces can get damaged or a jump ring can fail. If something happens to your adaptive reuse piece, please contact me. Often I can make repairs or replacements so you can get back to wearing your upcycled bling!
