is the label of
Chris van Veghel an accessory designer living in Amsterdam.
She designs and manufactures her own small scale collection of bags and accessories.
She started out with designing one-of-a-kind bags.
She loves to collect fabrics and making the one-of-a-kind bags was mainly a way for her to keep track of all these inspirational fabrics and be creative with them.
What she creates is inspired by the potential of the material she works with.

chrisvanveghel
is a one woman factory based in Amsterdam.
The bags are labourmade with raw material, simple and sustainable.
She followed a classical workmanship education specializing in bag
maintenance and small leather goods skills.

Chris is also freelance designer for Koda Amsterdam, re-use de Ploeg.
She collaborated with designer Kentroy Yearwood for the Launch of the Green Fashion Award 2010.
Before she started designing bags Chris was employed to make
colour and texture studies for a clothing label,
props, clothing, decor for theatre, opera and music and was a setdresser.
