Where Color Meets Precious Metals for the Bohemian Soul

The images and ideas that flow through my mind I need to create with my hands. Each piece I create is a moment in time, a moment in space, a moment in life. I can remember each smell and each sound as my hands become one with the tools I use. I adore the smell of copper on my hands and the way solid sterling and fine silver make them so soft. I need to have volume and texture within my work. Without it, my hands won't move. It is hard for my self to work flat. In a sense, my 'wearable art' is a tiny sculpture. My inspirations come from the colors, growth and creatures of the world. Sun, Moon and Earth.

As I create, I remember the times I spent in the fields of my Grandparents farm growing up. I would run through the tall grasses over grown with Wildflowers. My arms open wide, feeling each petal gently touch my skin. There were times I would be out searching for life at dusk. Those were the times I would come face to face with the Doe and Bucks that would come to the Apple trees for nourishment. The Monarch that would float and flutter among the flowers and gracefully collect the nectar. The Hare that would scurry across the Earth hoping I would not spot them. These are the moments that are imprinted on my soul. The are the moments that make my creations come to life.

I have my BFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University School of Art and Design where I studied under Timothy Lazure, Mi-Sook Hur, Robert Ebendorf and Linda Darty.

In 2008, I was able to travel and study abroad through out Tuscany Italy. It is something I will always cherish and never forget.

I am a published Artist with various magazines and online blogs. As well as Lark Books '500 Enameled Objects'

I am a metalsmith who has been making jewels for 10 years. I am inspired by what I read, the music I feel, the walks I take, and the way I live my life. The smell of copper and the feel of silver on my hands makes my heart beat.

Welcome to Chromafusion Jewelry. Where color meets precious metals for the Bohemian soul with an original floral twist.

Since 2005 I have been working with metal. Having the smell of it on my hands makes my heart beat. Working with a flat sheet of metal and manipulating it into a piece of jewelry to adorn the body is really special.

Refunds and Exchanges
Chromafusion creations are built to last a lifetime, however, please keep in mind that pieces of handmade artisan jewelry with enamel and/or natural stones are still delicate. Please refrain from rough, dirty, or especially wet activity while wearing my creations. This means, please do not garden, go mountain climbing, swimming, and even washing your hands, etc. Turquoise and most stones are very delicate.

Please read all descriptions of jewelry and accessories before checking out. This is where I have taken the time to let you know if certain pieces have natural flaws and where I give you sizes for rings and bracelets. I do not accept returns on any jewelry. If you have any questions before purchasing a piece, please contact me first so I can answer your question before you check out.

If you are truly unhappy with your purchase, please contact me so we can discuss and try to resolve the issue. If you are to return your piece, you are responsible for return shipping and store credit will be given. You must notify me within 7 days of the marked ship date.

There are absolutely no refunds or store credit given for custom orders. This includes your initial down payment. Custom orders are creations I have taken the time to discuss and fabricate just for you. <3
Additional policies and FAQs
I receive many questions each day pertaining my jewelry. Here are just a few that may help you in your decision of purchasing.

Q: Are your flowers hand made?
A: Yes! All flowers start out on flat sheet metal and are hand crafted by yours truly! Everything in each piece of jewelry is 100% hand made, unless otherwise noted in the individual listing. I do not use casted flowers, or anything in my jewelry that is casted, unless otherwise noted in the individual listing.

Q: Are the stones you use natural?
A: They sure are! Over the years I have made friendships and connections with honest lapidary artists. For the majority of stones I use in my creations - this is where they are sourced, by the connections I have made. I always, always, always note if a stone is not natural.

Q: Do you accept payment plans?
A: Absolutely! Once an item has been listed, and it is not been purchased over a 24 hour period of the creation being listed - I will then accept payment plans. If you are interested, be sure to message me right away, as the item can still be sold while we are communicating about a payment plan that works best for you. There is nothing I can do if the item is sold from your cart while I am creating the payment plan for you - this has happened more than once - so please be aware that this can happen.

Q: Can you re-size this ring?
A: I can re-size rings, however, I am only willing to size rings larger, and can only do so by up to a 1/2 size. I could size rings down, however, with the time and re construction that it would take, it would come at a high fee to the buyer and the time that is will take, I prefer not to size rings down.

Q: Do you use Sterling Silver?
A: Yup! All of my creations are hand crafted out of solid Sterling Silver sheet and wire along with Fine Silver and Argentium Silver. Sometimes I do incorporate other metals, like Copper and NuGold, and will note when I do.

Q: Do you ship world wide?
A: Yes I do! Please know I cannot control what the customs in your country may do to the packaging and I am not in charge of custom fees. Items will ship first class with tracking until it leaves the United States.

Q: How did you become a silversmith? Can you give me tips, ideas, and/or videos to watch to learn how to become a jeweler?
A: I achieved my BFA in Metal/Jewelry design at the University of East Carolina. I would not know where to point you on the internet, as I learned most of my techniques via my Professors at school through visual engagement. I have heard that Rio Grande does have some pretty neat learning videos though!
