I really wanted this bow tie for a specific event. I asked the seller to please ship it by a certain date and it did not arrive on time. When I received the bow tie it was nice and looked like I had expected it too. However, wouldn't order again due to the shipping time.
Chuckle Hounds for a "Pup-u-lar" dog!
We started sewing for the Super Bowl. We couldn't find a cute collar for our dog. So we made one. For him, and for every dog on the block.
They got to be so popular, that we just keep making them, and then we started helping out our favorite dog charities, then voila! Chuckle Hounds was born.
I love what we do. It's a fun project that gives me time to spend with our animals, and explore the great cities that we live in. It's a great conversation piece. At parties the "I make bow ties for dogs" answer to the boring "what do you do" question always gets people talking. It's fun. And I love it.
We hope you'll visit us often as we are always adding new styles and patterns. And we love feedback, pictures and suggestions. Let us know what YOU want to see!
If there's something you don't see… ask. We have a million projects going on that don't make it to the site quickly. Chances are if you want a harness, or matching item… we have it!
Owner, Creator, Designer
I love dogs. I'm NUTs about dogs. I love helping dogs, playing with dogs, walking dogs, and just being around dogs. Designing fun products for dogs keeps me at the head of the pack and smilin' all day long.
Operations, Customer Service, Creator
Sarah is the one who makes it happen behind the scenes. Traveling around the US and Canada meeting new vendors and scouting out new shops and hunting down fun fabrics for our new lines are just a few of the balls that she juggles.
Our senior seamstress - New England native, Jen Stone is responsible for crafting quality items for our shop. Every item she makes gets the 5 paw seal of approval from her King Charles Cavalier, Quincy.
Meet Jane! Our resident expert seamstress, she works tirelessly on the top sellers to make sure they're always in stock and ready for quick shipping. Also favorite sitter of our Chief Chuckle Hound Magnus.
From the cutting table to the mailbox, Jenny gets her hands on all parts and pieces of the assembly process. The newest member of our team, she has jumped right in and become part of our foundation. Plus…she has a cool accent!
As Chuckle Hounds' first employee, Martin is trained in all aspects of the business (except sewing!). His primary role is checking orders and packaging them for shipping, but he's also the setup guy at shows and all around handyman.
Melissa has that special eye for photography. She makes our products look good on our good lookin' (but often mobile and uncooperative!) models. It helps that she has a couple of fluffy tails at home to practice on.

Many orders are made on demand, so we ask that you give us at least 7 business days to get it produced and on its way during peak times.
Due to high demand at this time of year, we only make one trip to the post office each week. This saves us time and keeps our shipping costs lower for you! It also means we have more time to work on production.
Refunds and Exchanges
Some things we just can't control, like the weather and postal delays… but we do everything we can to minimize them.
We love to hear from you when we do something great too!
