Ciderbat is a one person operation. I aim to give dedicated and personal customer service. I take custom orders and I’m always thrilled if I can make something unique that has meaning to you. I try to reuse, recycling and repurpose where I can. Everything is handmade, one of a kind and has its own story. I’m London based and everything is made here in the UK.

I accept payment via PayPal. Paypal is a safe and easy method for paying by credit card (or other means) via a third-party site. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this method of payment.
All items are listed in GBP.
Payment should be made within three days of purchase. If you are having a problem with payment please contact me. After three days without payment, if I haven’t been contacted I will cancel the transaction and relist the item.
My items are made and sold from the UK, and therefore UK legislation applies. The buyer is responsible for any taxes on the item.
My despatch time is 1-2 days from receiving payment. Custom orders will take longer than this (please see below). I will send you a shipping notification via Etsy as soon as I have sent your order.
I package everything very carefully and receive proof of postage. I do try and reuse packaging where possible to reduce waste and postage costs. Small items of jewellery will usually be bubble wrapped and then placed in a padded bag. Other larger items will be packaged appropriately. Any glass or breakable objects will be marked fragile.
I post using UK Royal Mail. My shipping prices are for shipping and handling. This includes costs of postage, packaging and mailing.
I ship to your Etsy address. Please make sure this address is correct.
Please note that any purchases made in December will take at least an extra day to be delivered due to the busy Christmas period.

UK orders should arrive 2-3 working days after despatch.
Due to the nature of my items and Royal Mail specifications most jewellery is classed as a small package (depth greater than 2.5cm). My shipping costs are calculated on posting second class. My shipping fees are the maximum you will pay for second class standard postage. If I am able to send items as a large letter I will do so first class and refund any overcharged postage costs.
If you require your items sooner, tracked or would prefer any other Royal Mail service including 1st Class, Signed For or Special Delivery please message me to arrange this.

I ship internationally using Royal Mail Airmail.
For deliveries to Europe the estimated arrival time is 3-5 working days after despatch. Deliveries to anywhere outside of Europe estimated arrival is 5-7 working days after despatch. These delivery estimations are not guaranteed and can sometimes take longer due to customs delays. Please be assured that I will ship promptly to limit your waiting time. Delivery to some destinations can take up to 25 days.
The customer is responsible for any duty or customs charges. Also, I cannot control any delays caused by customs or your country's postal services. Orders requiring a customs label will be posted with a relevant, accurate and detailed description.
TRACKING - regular Airmail does not include tracking. If you would like to have your order tracked then I can send it via Royal Mail Airsure - which is a priority, trackable service. Please contact me to arrange this or write a note in the Message To Seller at checkout. The additional costs for this are as follows;
To send via Airsure to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain or Sweden is an additional cost of £5.00 (approx. €5.90).
To send via Airsure to Andorra, Australia, Azores, Balearic Islands, Brazil, Canada, Canary Islands, Corsica, Faroe Islands, Hong Kong, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Madera, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland or the USA is an additional cost of £5.40 (approx. €6.40/ US$8.50)
If your country is not listed above I can send your purchase through the equivalent service, ‘International Signed For’ at a cost of £5.30 (approx. €6.30/ US$8.30)

It is very rare that a parcel goes missing and I will do everything possible to make sure you receive your order. Standard delivery is not guaranteed by Royal Mail and I can only recover damages or loses up to the value of £20. If your combined purchases are over £20 I strongly suggest that you buy additional guaranteed or tracked delivery. In accordance with Royal Mail policies if you are in the UK, please wait 15 days before contacting me about a lost purchase and 28 days if you are an international buyer. Please bear in mind that delivery times can be affected by customs procedures or any increase in security checks and postal services in your own country. If your items are damaged in transit please retain all packaging and contents and contact me. Do not wait more than 70 days to contact me about a lost or damaged item, as after this time I am unable to file a complaint with the postal service and therefore cannot compensate you.
Refunds and Exchanges
I really hope that you will be happy with your purchase, however if for any reason you are unhappy please return your order in its original condition, within fourteen days of receiving it, for refund or exchange. Refund includes refund of the purchase price; it does not include postage and packing. Exchange is for a voucher to the value of the purchase price. When returning an item it is advisable to notify me before posting it, so that I know to expect it, and please ensure you retain proof of posting until I have confirmed receipt and refunded you. I will only give refund or exchange once I have received the order. All shipping fees are non-refundable.

Unfortunately I am unable to offer refund or exchange on earrings for hygiene reasons, or custom orders due to their individual nature. If you think there has been an error on my part in relation to your custom order please contact me.
