Can not fault Christine's customer service, she responded to my query promptly. The cover itself is sublime, a high quality fabric and a perfect fit.

Absolutely love the planner cover. It was very accurate to the picture and the fabric is high quality. My second time buying a planner cover from her and I've never been disappointed. The pictures I attached show it with a plastic cover on top of the fabric cover (the plastic on top of the cover is NOT sold together) but should probably be bought if you plan on buying this cover to make sure it never gets dirty. Not that the cover gets dirty easily but I just love it so much that I wanted to ensure it stays clean with the plastic cover on top. Buy them when you see something you like or you'll regret it when you can't buy that exact iteration! I definitely regretted it when I didn't buy one a few years back when I liked that version too, now it's not sold anymore.

Beautifully made and just what I have been looking for to store some old steel and ivory handled knives that were made by some of my ancestors, so part of my family history. Very well and lovingly packaged too. Thank you.
Beautifully handmade, designed to be different...
Textiles are my passion - I love what I do, I love each item I make, and I believe it shows in the quality of my work.
As well as creating some original fabrics by painting, dyeing and felting, I like to make use of rescued vintage textiles and good quality fabric remnants. I often pick up fabric pieces on my travels and receive others from generous friends. Whatever the source, they are all treasured and are the inspiration behind many of my designs.
I'm very keen to recycle and re-use as much as possible, not just to reduce waste but also to reduce the environmental impact of global textile production. I try to keep my use of new materials to a minimum, preferring to source them from smaller, ethical producers. I also re-use clean packaging materials whenever I can, without compromising on the safe delivery of your purchases.
More information about my textile artwork, felt-making and exhibitions can be found on my website at www.christineshephard.co.uk

Accepted payment methods
Returns & exchanges
Orders will not be shipped until full payment is received.
I will contact you within 24 hours to acknowledge receipt of your order and to let you know when it will be shipped.
Most orders are packed and dispatched within 1-2 working days unless otherwise advised in the listing. For custom orders, the processing time will be agreed with you before the order is accepted.
UK orders are shipped by Royal Mail first-class post. Higher value items (above £20) and overseas orders are usually shipped by Royal Mail Signed (UK) or Tracked - the cost of this is included in the standard shipping costs shown.
Optional upgrades (for UK deliveries only) are available on request:
RM Special Delivery (1pm) - this guarantees delivery on the next working day (Mon-Fri) before 1pm, excluding bank holidays.
RM Special Delivery (1pm, Sat) - this is a guaranteed Saturday delivery before 1pm (for orders shipped on Friday).
I can give an average or estimated delivery time for your order, but can't guarantee a delivery date. If the delivery date is important, please contact me before ordering. While most packages do arrive within the estimated time, some can take considerably longer. Actual delivery times depend on shipping method, customs clearance, holidays and local conditions. You should allow up to 3 weeks for UK deliveries and up to 6 weeks for overseas deliveries, depending on your location. At busy times of the year there may be longer delays clearing customs in some countries. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you are concerned about your order.
Customs declarations for overseas shipments will disclose the actual sales value of the goods as shown on the invoice/delivery note. Please do not ask me to mark orders as 'gifts' on the customs declaration, as this is not allowed and would be fraudulent.
**IMPORTANT**: International BUYERS are responsible for all customs charges, local taxes, import VAT, handling fees or any other import charges levied. Some countries also have restrictions on importing certain goods - it is the BUYER's responsibility to check the import rules and fees that apply in their own country before ordering. I cannot be held responsible for goods confiscated, destroyed or returned by customs.
I offer 'free shipping' on some smaller items in the UK, but otherwise shipping costs are based on the estimated weight and size of your order. I always try to ship orders in the most cost-effective way, so multiple orders may occasionally arrive in separate packages. Any material overage of shipping costs on multiple orders will be refunded.
Please note that the 'shipping cost' charged also includes a nominal amount for packaging and a small uplift to cover Etsy's fees and commission on shipping costs.

Frequently asked questions
How long will it take to process my order?
I will contact you within 24 hours to acknowledge receipt of your order and let you know the expected shipping date.
Most orders are shipped within 1-2 working days unless they are made-to-order or custom-made.
How will my order be shipped and when will I receive it?
UK orders are shipped by Royal Mail first-class post; overseas orders are shipped by Royal Mail airmail. Higher value orders (above £20) are usually shipped by a tracked or signed-for service as standard. Optional postage upgrades are available at checkout.
Average delivery times:
UK 1-3 days; Europe 1-2 weeks; USA/Canada 1-3 weeks; RoW 2-4 weeks.
Delivery times vary by country and I can only give an estimate. If the delivery date is important, please contact me before ordering.
Most orders arrive within the estimated time but they can take longer and you should allow up to 3 weeks for UK orders and 6 weeks for overseas orders, depending on your location. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you are concerned about your order.
What about customs/import fees?
Customs declarations for overseas/non-EU orders will disclose the invoice value of the goods. Please do not ask me to mark orders as 'gifts' on the customs declaration, as this is not allowed and would be fraudulent.
**IMPORTANT**: International BUYERS are responsible for all customs charges, local taxes, VAT, handling fees or any other import charges levied. Some countries also have restrictions on importing certain goods - it is the BUYER's responsibility to check the import rules and fees that apply in their own country before ordering. I cannot be held liable for goods confiscated, destroyed or returned by customs.
What do I do if my order gets damaged in the post?
If you receive damaged or faulty goods, please contact me immediately. I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and will work with you to put right any problems.
Under UK/EU consumer law, if goods are damaged or faulty when you receive them, you have 30 days in which to return them for a full refund. After 30 days you may still be entitled to claim a repair or refund but other terms apply.
It may be necessary to provide evidence of damage, so please keep the original packaging. Photos of the damage to goods and packaging may be requested in the event of a claim.
How do I return goods if I need to?
Under UK/EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order before it has shipped, or within 14 days of receipt of goods, and receive a full refund.
Please message me or e-mail me before returning an item.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If goods are not returned in their original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. I recommend obtaining proof of posting, tracking or insurance in case they are lost or damaged in transit. For International returns, please mark the package clearly as 'Returned Goods'.
Refunds will be given within 14 days of receipt of returned goods.
These rights do not apply to custom-made, personalised or bespoke items unless the goods are faulty/damaged.
What happens if my order doesn't turn up?
Occasionally packages are delayed in the post or at customs. Please be patient - it's very rare that packages are actually lost, so there's a good chance your order will eventually arrive.
The postal system gets very busy around holiday periods, so do allow extra time for goods to arrive, or consider upgrading to a priority service. I usually allow up to 3-4 weeks for UK orders and 6-8 weeks for international orders before refunding for non-delivery.
Custom and personalised orders
I'm always happy to discuss custom orders, so please message me if you would like something made in a different size or another fabric.
Many of the fabrics I use are vintage or limited availability, so it may not be possible to repeat an item or use the same fabric for something else. However, I do have a large stock of fabrics and may be able to suggest an alternative.
Handmade fabrics, such as my handmade felts and hand-dyed silks, are generally not repeatable, but it may be possible to create something similar - not always immediately, but sometimes special things are worth the wait.
Orders as gifts/optional gift-wrap/gift message
If you tick the box at checkout for 'this item is a gift', it means the price will not be shown on the packing slip. This allows the recipient to know where it was purchased but not how much you paid for it.
Ticking this box does NOT mean I will declare the contents as a 'gift' on the customs form (see FAQ above on customs fees), and the customs form will still show the value for customs purposes for destinations outside the EU.
If you would like to add gift-wrapping to your order, or would like a personal message/gift card included, please tick the 'gift' box at checkout and then select the gift-wrap and/or gift message option.
