This print was jury selected into national show at Marin MOCA called Happenstance. Great show!
On view at our JCC show, this print was created by setting type in Hebrew, making a laser plate to emboss it and overprinting the color on a plexiglass plate!
At the opening of my show at the Marin JCC! Pictured here my collograph Point of Departure, printed from recycled cereal boxes.

Video summary: Check out this one-minute video of my woodcut process

I have always been passionate about printmaking.

When I look back over the time I have been making prints, it is gratifying to feel as passionate about printmaking as ever. My first foray into the techniques began when I majored in art in college. After I received my degree, I worked in design and marketing and was fortunate to have a successful career, but I had to set printmaking aside during all that time.

It is really only in the last three years that I have been able to return full time to printmaking, and I am more motivated than ever to experiment, learn and grow as I express the images that come to me. In addition to learning more printmaking techniques, I am also pursuing drawing and watercolor as a way to stretch my imagination and inform my work in printmaking.

I am encouraged that the Bay Area shows support, appreciation, and delight in its dedication to the arts and I am excited and grateful as I pursue a place in our thriving art community.
