I'd been eyeing this for a while and finally used a return customer discount code to purchase. It's lovely and is sitting next to a photo of my mom in my room.

The pictures of this sampler on etsy were very nice, descriptive, and clear, and taken in a complimentary light, but I think it is even more beautiful in person! I love it. Wonderfully packaged, too! Thank you!

Elaborately beaded late 19th century bolero jacket that fits perfectly and can be gently worn despite its age. Seller was transparent about some additional found issues on the jacket, and we were able to quickly resolve it over messages. The jacket is something that I've wanted to purchase for months, and finally decided on. Excited to turn some gothic witchy vibes in it come spring.

Literally speechless over this. This history alone has a personal connection to me. Lovely condition and excellent shipping. Incredibly friendly and understanding seller. Thank you!
Thoughtfulness, remembrance, and honor the Victorian way.
My first interaction with anything vintage or antique was at my grandmothers brownstone condo in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. I remember walking up the stairs, holding onto the thick, intricately carved oak banisters. The heavy feeling of solid wood followed through to the trim that framed a series of dark oak doors fitted with solid brass knobs and locks. My grandmothers door was the first at the top of the landing.
My grandmothers condo always had a thick smell of seasonings and oils. Oils such as grease*, various types of lotions, and baby oils. Aside from the smell I remember large sums of distilled water and vitamins everywhere. My grandmother always emphasized drinking water. The way she said water had a warm roundness to it.
