5 out of 5 stars

I bought this for my boyfriend who used to live in San Francisco and has been looking for smaller pieces of art. In person, it's even more beautiful. It's simple but has tons of charm and elegance. I love it! Ready to hang or display as is. Count me as a happy customer! I recommend this artist 100%!

I wanted to get something for a friend who completed the San Francisco Marathon this past year. I found this great piece of art from Oana. I couldn't have been more pleased when it arrived. Not only was the art beautiful but Oana had taken the time to write a personal note and even decorated the package it came in (which I have saved). Oana was such a pleasure to deal with and was so personal in her approach it just made the art that much more special!!

About

Cityscapes full of life.

"I try to give people a different way of looking at their surroundings. That's art to me."
Maya Lin

With my background in architecture, I am inspired by buildings and cities. While getting my degree, I had the opportunity to study on the east coast and then travel to Europe for a few months, the images which I still use in my art. I graduated and began working in San Francisco. Growing up creating, and realizing my favorite school and university classes involved art, art once again captured my attention a few years into practicing architecture. An unplanned changed offered the opportunity to alter my course. I also realized the more immediate results of art better fit my personality!

Still in appreciation of the field, I transitioned away from working in architecture and more into documenting it. San Francisco provided a good start for a creative like me, simultaneously inspiring my transition. What originated as black and white line drawings developed more colors, layers and now includes painting. Above all through my explorations, I try to capture the personality of place.

Thank you for visiting my shop! I enjoy documenting cities via sketches, and hope you enjoy taking a look- please visit often! To help make it easier, I have a blog webpage that you can sign up for and receive daily updates (www.oanaart.com). I am happy to take cityscape requests for your favorite places in various colors and sizes- just let me know if you are interested.

Remember, original art is always perfect for you and for sharing. These pieces are affordable and great for: host/hostess gifts, Mother/Father's Day, Birthdays, Holidays, sending off friends with good memories, the office, and more! Original 6"x6" sketches start at just $30!

Here are some items to note about each piece:
* all pieces (drawings/sketches) are one of a kind
* resin art: sketches are drawn directly on wood panels, and then covered in resin**
**Resin is a liquid plastic that dries hard and clear. This both protects the work and adds another layer of depth due to it’s reflectivity.
**materials for each piece: acrylic paint, marker, resin, wood panel, and collage on some work (if noted)
* due to the nature of resin, imperfections (such as small dust, small bubbles) can occur as it dries. I do my best to prevent and minimize these, but pieces may have some small imperfections only noticeable upon very close inspection. I do my best to accurately document each piece I list.
* mixed media and works on paper art also original drawn on archival paper.

Art should be fun and I want all customers to be completely satisfied with all purchases. Please contact/convo me with any questions.

* Please feel free to contact me with any questions relating to items prior to purchasing. I can offer an exchange of art if there are any problems with the pieces you receive, though do not offer refunds.
