ART THAT INSPIRES
After college, I worked in inner city Milwaukee with a Family Literacy program teaching parent education classes and going into people's homes bringing fun and educational activities to families. I loved it! It could be emotionally demanding work at times, but it was very fulfilling. Later, I went on for my Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and worked as a supervisor for a home visitation program. After having my first child and moving to a new city, I chose to be at home to raise her, and that’s when my love of taking photographs was translated into a serious business.
I have always loved to take pictures! It makes me happy. I think it is in my genes. My dad’s side of the family seems to always have a DSLR at the ready at family gatherings, sporting events, and at Christmastime. Don’t leave home without the camera. It was destined that some of that camera crazy would rub off on me too.
I believe that a great picture has emotional power, and I have become passionate about capturing images that evoke something internally within in myself and others. It is my desire that my Fine Art Photography evoke emotions within you as well. I love it when people message me about how my art touches them in some way...it brings back a memory of a loved one, a place traveled to, a friendship. Seriously - that means a lot to me and brings me joy!

Additional policies and FAQs
A: Please be aware that every computer monitor displays color a bit differently, so what you see on your computer screen could vary a little bit from the print you receive. I calibrate and coordinate my computer monitor with that of my photo printing lab to ensure the best possible color results.
Please also remember any print with a texture work (blurred lights, spots, swirls, grain, etc.) was created that way on purpose, to enhance it's artistic appeal, so please keep that in mind when ordering.
